I love this place, I was sad to see it close down one by one, but finally found one that is open. Fuddruckers was one of my childhood favorite spot to go to after a soccer game or tkd. Now i get to introduce it to my children which also love how they get to choose their own toppings for their burgers and get to pick a cookie at the end. Wife had a bison burger and i had a 1lb burger onion and swiss.
Bison burger was good, ordered it Medium and got Medium rare. I love that they have onion rings AND fries as an option and not just one or the other.
One line served everyone arriving. Our party of 22 people had quite a long time in line. The staff knew we were coming to for lunch. Seems they could have opened up another line. Salads looked crisp and fresh. I personally ordered a Kobe burger which I didn't enjoy. Simply saying it wasn't like Kobe beef I've had before. Tasted like a regular blah burger. Disappointed. Didn't order fries. BTW, my burger was bunless - no gluten free options were available. I won't be going back.
My son and I I are burger aficionados! We both have tried most burger places in the DMV as well as many burger establishment s around the country. Fudruckers, hands down has the best quality burgers around. The prices for the quality of food you recieve is also second to none! I have been a Fudruckers fan for 30 years plus. It is too bad the chain has suffered because many people these days go to the new shiny chains like Shake Shack, who honestly don't even compare. Fudruckers has an amazing array of choices of burger meats as well as burger sizes. Lately I have been enjoying their bison burger.This place rocks!
Dine In during lunch was very busy but the staff handled everything amazingly well. All staff were working diligently, as well as being friendly with the customers. The food was fresh and tasty, special shout-out to the gentleman cleaning the dining area. There was not one moment where his hands were not full and being productive with a smile on his face.
The "heyday" of Fuddruckers is in a deep twilight compared to the early 80's when I and my high school friends would descend upon the eatery after "the game".Essentially the concept remains the same and there are even new offerings such as wild meats for burger options and fish and chips. The food is still appealing and the decor is 100% pre 2000's.What is striking is the quietness. The empty tables and food booths...almost likely due to COVID-19 but also the fact that relevance is the bain of every eatery. The super generous milk shakes and big burgers only appeal to a small fraction of the population nowadays, which in many cases--just like my own, are visiting out of nostalgia.Our meal was enjoyable enough. The cleanliness fell short tho. Tables had smears of condiments left behind. The tops of the salt and pepper shakers were crusted -- we used the available hand sanitizer and napkins to "clean up" the set we picked up prior to usage. The drink station was awash in dried puddles of spilled drinks gone by.The apathy is low key prevalent. The staff was friendly and responsive, but if you look closer, the marks are there of "busy work" no longer driving anyone. If no one comes why does it matter...??? It matters because no one comes when being made to feel as tho their presence no longer matters.
Drove over an hour from Baltimore just to enjoy this. Quick friendly service and the food was delicious.
I have a soft spot for Fuddruckers as it was a childhood favorite of mine. Now in my 30's I was delighted when we moved into our new home and realized there was a Fuddruckers less than a mile from our house. The burgers are as delicious as I remember, being very flavorful and juicy. A surprise for me was how delicious their chicken quesadilla is. It's a full circle quesadilla instead of a half circle and every part of the quesadilla is well cooked and seasoned. I've become a regular here and I don't foresee that changing anytime soon.
Great atmosphere, clean restaurant. Who knew they had elk burgers? I wish there was stop making their employees wear masks.
I asked for medium cooked burger, I got it well done. ? Food is ok. Friendly service mostly and good assortment of condiment for the burgers. I would probably not consider this place next time I crave a burger.
