Catch of the day - Grilled Halibut on cilantro rice with cream poblano sauce and corn salsa …. you might want a second helping (yummm). Waiter, Chris, was on the ball, moves like lightning, and still has time to be pleasant. Yeah! Go here! I’ll be back.
I got to give this place super five star ⭐️ the best sea food I have had so far. Very inviting and clean, fresh seafood. The owner/ management should be proud of them self, our waitress SOPHI G was super friendly and professional and helpful.This is the must try place if you love seafood.

So glad I stopped here on my way to the airport! Enjoyed the restaurant atmosphere and friendly staff. Most of all the clams, shrimp and crab legs. Good value for cost!
Fords Fish Shack had fresh and tasty seafood. My friends ordered the oysters and said they were fresh, I sampled the crab cake and it was flavorful and had a good meat to breading ratio. The shrimp cocktail was awesome with large jumbo shrimp, lobster Tails were delicious and the drawn butter perfect! Would definitely visit again and would recommend to others.
If you like seafood, stop by and check it out. I just found the food to be average. Fish and chips: chips were good as was the coleslaw. Fish taste was good but over cooked. Clam chowder was OK. Salmon over cooked.
Always a treat when I visit Northern Virginia from 757 Hampton Roads area because my mom and dad, who our regulars at this Ford's location, treat me, my wife and kid there. Made reservations for a party of 5 using Google Maps and when we arrived, we we're seated immediately. Server and staff members where 5 ?'s. Drinks and appetizers were swift. 2lbs of Peel and Eat Steamed Shrimp ?. Then ordered our dinner selections and all the food tasted amazing. I tried the North Pacific Cod entrée with broccolini. Definitely recommend. Definitely will be returning. The owner even spoke to us before we got up to leave. Check them out. All the way from the 757.
Last minute dinner out at Ford's Fish Shack tonight. Our server, Virginia, was delightful and when my 7 year old wanted his own blueberry lemonade she went out of her way to bring him a lemonade plus some blueberries he could mash up & add so he had his own "cool" drink. I ordered him the kid's salmon which was great, as usual.My husband ordered the clam chowder and the fish & chips. I ordered the fresh catch special of arctic char but asked for it to be prepared as they normally prepare their salmon. Everything was absolutely delicious! My artic char came out as actual salmon (simple mistake especially because of how I ordered it). The manager, Donn, came out immediately and apologized and told me to go ahead & eat what I'd like and he'd have a new arctic char made as I'd requested. Both Donn and Virginia were very gracious about everything. Additionally, Donn took both the salmon and the char off of our check AND comped us free desserts!! What a way to show customers that you really care about their satisfaction & business. We will continue to patronize Ford's as usual but I had to tell people about how they went above and beyond for us tonight.
Great place great service. Prices are reasonable for the area. Food was delicious and very filling. Sitting right next to the bar had perks for quick service and quick drinks. Great atmosphere and outdoor seating now that it’s nice out.
