Food use to be good but not anymore!! We ordered babai idly sprinkled with dry coconut powder, rava dosa was literally white in color and when we told them it’s not cooked the cook and other person working said that’s how ravvadosa is cooked!!! First of all we know how ravva dosa is cooked and we grew up eating it. They didn’t bother or care to make changes. Horrible service and unclean interiors. It’s just wasting money for bad tasting food.
Not your typical Indian in the area, so be prepared for a different experience. All my normal go to dishes were not available. So I struggled thru the menu but in the end flavors and spices are very good.Must try street food, Punugulu (like an Indian hush puppy) very tastyDosa is like an Indian pancake/crepe but you can stuff with a protein. Needs to be eaten quickly and not saved for later (completely different flavors if refrigerated)Samosa is fresh light crispy outside but soft dough makes it really fresh to eat.I ordered goat curry but got chicken curry, but it was very tasty with different flavors than normal curry.Be careful if you have nut allergies they have peanut sauces and like a pistachio nut in a dessert.Sry for lack of pictures and better food choices bamma friend was late so I didn't have the inside Indian food translator. Will go back to try more.
I will never visit this place again. Worst service and the food quality is very bad. Never refer this place to family and friends.
Well done goat biryani with very good mirchi ga salan and raita. Their butter milk tastes good, home style. Again, homestyle sweets sold like rava laddu and bondi laddu. Seating is good, both indoor and outdoor. Staff was friendly in taking the order, gave good recommendations on the menu.My recommendations -1. Bathrooms were okay but needs a regular check and cleaned at intervals2. Good to change the silverware and serving style (not plastic plates), such hot and good biryanis cannot be eaten in the plastic plates
Unfortunately there is no negative scale, hence restricting feedback to a single star. They had the air conditioner turned off on a 92 degree day creating a ambience of walking into a 100+ degree oven. The tables were not clean and the trash was overflowing from the prior day. They were out of paper napkins and the floors made you wonder if there was a fist fight over food the prior day. We ordered a vegetarian biryani and a plain dosa. There were 0 (ZERO) vegetables in the biryani and after repeated assurances on mildness, it was super hot forcing me to trash it. The dosa was nothing fancy and came with a sambhar that seemed to imply we had a ongoing famine(no vegetables). I had to ask about my order 3 times and finally stand put in front of the take out bar decorated with aluminum foil before I got it. All in all my worst experience to date in my last 20 years of eating out : bad customer service, bad ambience, poor menu (had less than 10 items), really bad food with low levels of hygiene (check out the staff who cook and serve). Avoid like you would the bubonic plague.
Poor, very poor. The manager or the owner, cant say who it was when the first guy passed the phone over - says he doesnt care about reviews and he knows he is the best and that is about it.Arrogant, rude and maybe a few other adjectives not worth mentioning - never going back again.Food is not good, they cannot take criticism of their food, no matter how bad they make it - funny, huh!
Mysore Bonda was good thats about it among 8 things ordered. Paneer 65 worst I have eaten ever. “Dum biryani” was bad pulao. Tables were barely better than the sink. They say bathroom is good indicator of how clean kitchen is. I have seen gutters cleaner than this bathroom. I will come back only if I am starving for a week and this is the only restaurant on face of earth.
Good food. If you are in mood of some Indian spicy food, this is the place. We usually go to the Bar section and it's always fun.
Place where they serve Dosa and Bonda with out chutneys. When the issue is reported to management they blame customers and talking with in themselves that customer is lying while the customer is still on call.Chopathi management:In the past we had placed so many orders and this is the 1st time we have reported an issue. Every customer doesn’t call you for free food. We call you to report the issue. So, that you will make sure to provide everything when we order something again at your place.
Food was ordered for a group event for school for Diwali celebrations late November. Food was really very disappointing. For appetizers, the samosas had very thick skin and the inside mix did not taste good either. Pakoras were much better though. Entrees were the worst with the paneer dish really a big disappointment as the cubes were chewy indicating the paneer was not fresh and the chole were oily with small sized cheaper brand of chickpeas and not the garbanzo ones. Nans were the last straw to make me write this review. In just about an hour's time of the event, the nans were literally rock hard. There was no way anyone could have eaten those without hurting their mouth. Think twice before you order from here for an event that you would not want to be remembered for awful food!
