Very good if you like spicy food. I was hoping for non-spicy fried chicken for half of our family, and spicy for the other half. My husband loved everything and my one son enjoyed the spice too. However, it was a bit too much for me and my other son though. We kept eating because it was so good, but I personally do not enjoy that spicy feeling/taste. Most people do though. Good portions and size of popcorn shrimp and calamari. Very friendly atmosphere and staff.
We really enjoyed our take out from Choong Man. The chicken was delicious, juicy, crunchy, and spicy (just right). We got regular and red, which was fairly spicy. The big surprise were the breaded shrimp. Wow! The taste was so fresh and flavorful. Some of the best fried shrimp that I've ever had. The restaurant atmosphere was pleasant while we waited for our food to be cooked and the staff was genuinely friendly. I enjoyed ordering on the touchscreen because I know my order was recorded properly. I'll be back and I'll come hungry!
I do consider my self a fried chicken connoisseur. I’ve been to many a fried chicken places in my lifetime. I have to say that Choong Man chicken in Ashburn is one of the best Korean fried chicken places I’ve been to in Northern Virginia. I went there on a third evening and ordered a whole chicken. 1/2 was soy garlic and 1/2 was the regular chicken. The chicken was extra crispy and juicy, just the way I like it. The soy garlic flavoring was delicious, and the flavor was just right. My mouth is watering as I write this review. I will definitely be coming back here again.
The garlic soy chicken is the best item on the menu. One order would be sufficient for two people. Order the spicy flavors only if you can handle Real spicy food.The staff is caring and positive. TVs are playing K pop music videos and the place would give you a little taste of South Korea
Whether you like spicy food or not, this is an excellent chicken restaurant with tremendous service. They offer wings, tenders whole chicken, etc. with a variety of sauces. As a spicy food lover, their red hot chicken is really great and reasonably priced. The skin is very crispy and better than all other fried chicken places in this area. Did I also mention that the speed of service is extremely fast? Definitely worth a visit or five.

Usually, I am a little reluctant to go to Korean restaurants outside of Fairfax County, but this one is spot on. My dad and I really enjoyed their spicy garlic chicken.
Arguably the best Korean Fried Chicken I have had. Eat bite was crisp and the chicken was marinated super well. The onion rings that I also had on the side were crisp and delicious. I will definitely eat at this restaurant more often. It was that good!
Got takeout tonight for the first time and it was great! I'm really glad I informed the lady at cashier it was my first time as she talked me out of ordering the #3 with the chicken tossed in spicy sauce (read: only let me order it on the side ?). I'd never had korean spicy and she was 100% correct that it's different from what I'm used to, though still very delicious. The chicken was perfectly fried and dipping it in both the spicy and garlic soy sauces created a perfect medium. The pickled radish is also a great palette cleanser between sips and bites. 100% recommend for the food and great service!
This food is absolutely amazing! The size of their wings are great too, meaning; they are not small and shriveled like some wing spots! My favorite is the Garlic Spicy Chicken!
