I'll say this: The food was good. Reservations for 6 people, we were led into the main dining room at the back. Poorly lit, it was hard to read the menu, so we ended up using our phone flashlights to read the menu. It was difficult to understand the mumbling server with heavily-accented English ... he didn't move his lips when he talked, making it hard to understand him. We had to ask him to repeat himself several times, but eventually we all agreed on what we were ordering, and the meal arrived. The food was excellent. We started with Bombay Cheese Toast, followed by Butter Chicken, Tandoor Chicken, and Palak Paneer. Rich creamy sauces, great flavors, really nicely presented. The price was above average for Indian cuisine in the area, but we would consider returning on special occasions.
I visited on a quiet Saturday night of a holiday weekend to experience what reviews were saying and mark a family birthday anniversary. The exterior looks relatively plain compared with the brightly colored and clean interior. I had the bar area and the barkeep mostly to myself the entire night and enjoyed approachable and attentive service throughout. I especially appreciated the sensitivity paid to my tree nut and peanut allergy, as I was steered away from one appetizer course I was planning to order as a result. Wandering through the menu, I decided on a drink to begin and finish my meal of two appetizers and mains. Food arrived in a timely and accurate fashion save one hiccup on my second main which was easily forgivable given the rest of the service. The Kala Khatta drink had a good appearance and punch from the fruit syrup and felt refreshingly assertive compared with another version I had elsewhere. The kale appetizer struck me as quite sweet overall, probably owing to the fruit and pearls elements in the dish. The portion was generous. I could have used an element of heat and less fruit to complement the kale taste better. Scallops had a similarly sweet note in the accompanying mousse which both had good textures otherwise. More savoriness in both appetizers would have been appreciated. The chicken tikka was a highlight with a proper tamarind sauce garnishing an equally proper portion of chicken cooked nearly perfectly and seasoned just right for my taste. I did not find the foam to add much to this plate, as I would have instead welcomed a chutney on the other side to go with the green tamarind. The chick pea side was spiced nicely with a good texture and feel for the chick peas. The dish had a bit too much oil/ghee as I ate halfway through an otherwise well tasting accompaniment. The salmon had a great tasting sauce surrounding the lone piece of fish which for the price I was anticipating more. The fish itself was cooked more medium to medium well, so maybe a little less tandoor time would have elevated the overall satisfying taste that much more. Bread arrived hot and had a crunchy exterior and appropriate taste throughout. The mango lassi for my dessert proved a good flavor and consistency even if the portion seemed somewhat restrained from other experiences elsewhere. The total bill came to exactly $100 before tax and tip, leaving me wondering whether I got a reasonable value. Part of me viewed the artistry and creativity of the plates in awe, while another part of me wondered if my tastes longed for more traditional flavors of these dishes (the chicken excepted). I think I know where I would concentrate my calories if I returned, possibly with others in the area. I am generally glad I visited to experience this interpretation of northern Indian cuisine.
Amazing service and the best fusion Indian food I’ve ever had. It’s hard to find a place that does everything - has good ambience, good hospitality and great food. This place went above and beyond our expectations and wowed us with each dish. Try the gol gappas, paneer pudina and ghevar dessert.
Most unassuming place from outside, but it it will wow you when you walk in. Beautiful and tastefully decorated interior and staff are very attentive and professional. Food is exceptionally good and the presentation is top notch. Rose Lassi is something I never tried before but it is really good. Try this place if you want to make a memorable night!
Fox News was playing. Changed it upon request. Appetizer was good but meals were very underwhelming. Four people and only one of us enjoyed the entree. So many better restaurants that do all the dishes better. Service was good.
I found out that this place has ghevar that is why we had ordered a pickup. But we ended up having lunch .The staff, the ambience the vibe made my day The gentleman in black shirt with glasses served us and suggested us the main course. This place is an example of the how a best customer service restaurant looks like Coming back next week again
We had an absolutely fantastic first dinner at Celebration last weekend. Every single dish was better than the last and the cocktails were outstanding. Our server and everyone working in the restaurant was attentive, kind, and gracious. Run, don’t walk, to try this place out.
We had an impromptu dinner at Rupa Vira!! The ambience, staff the entire experience was really good.We had Rose Lassi it was amazing, kheema paao was perfect. Butter Chicken could have been better. They serve rumali roti which is very rare to find in Indian Restaurants. Will definitely visit again and try other dishes!!
My Son and I went here last night for the first time - and we will be back with the rest of our family. Service was friendly, attentive and informative. Cocktails were delicious and potent. And the food's presentation was a beautiful as it was delicious - what a feast! Highly recommended! ??
