Unfortunately have to agree with the others that something is wrong with this location. Order made wrong or something missing nearly every time. Make sure to check it carefully before you leave. Food still good, but not quite as good as other locations. Have been to other Cafe Rios in VA, MD, AZ, UT and MT...all better. What's up?
Tacos were great. Tortillas are great. Salad was okay. Black beans were good. Rice was ok. Worth a try. Staff was nice.
First time at Cafe R. I am profoundly deaf and today my hearing aids were not working well and I was having trouble making myself understood to the very kind gentleman taking my order. I wish I would have gotten his name. He went out of his way to help me. The food was very delicious and the portions were more than enough. If you haven’t tried Cafe Rio you are missing out on some great eats. Give it a try. Next time I’ll have my wife with me and I won’t embarrass myself or make the staff work harder than they should.
Very disappointed! Had a salad in the car and it was watery in the bottom of container. It was already leaking in the plastic bag everywhere… had wiping work done even before start eating. The tortilla was soaked wet, wayyy too much blk beans. The lettuce piece was chunky way bigger than bite sizes that I had a struggle eating it right. Not returning.
Food was ok tasting but the meat, rice and beans were only Lukewarm. Price was ok. No beer or wine. How can you eat Mexican food with no beer? ???
Barbacoa pork salad is my go-to favorite option here. Service is always great so you can get amazing food fast. Dining available inside and outside or quick take out. Fill out a survey on your receipt and get free desert next visit. Also use the Cafe Rio app to earn points towards free meals.
The tortillas and drinks are made fresh on site. My wife like the salad (that is basically an open burrito) and I liked the quesadilla. Too bad they got rid of their coconut shrimp. That was my favorite. I hope they bring it back some time.
The staff always prepares the food with pride. The portions and value are high. The specialty teas and drinks are excellent
Not coming back here, the fire roasted chicken that I put in my burrito had a bone in it and the chicken was tough in general. The ingredients don’t look fresh at all, some of the sauces look like they have been sitting out for days. Their soda machine is off, none of the soft drinks taste like they are supposed to. Overall horrible experience.
I had chicken enchiladas and they were excellent. Will definitely go again.
