This is by far the best sushi in the Northern Virginia area. The service was also fabulous. The waiter was great with recommendations and knowledgeable of the extensive menu. The chef also came out and explained several dishes. And the floor manager confirmed everything was just right. It caters to a younger crowd and is a little loud for some of us older folks (but there is outdoor seating when weather cooperates). It is also a tad bit pricey - but so good you won't care. The cocktails are also phenomenal. Go hungry, unabashedly order too much, try savor rather than inhale, and don't think twice about eating every last bite.

Everything was incredible as usual, from the drinks, to the sushi to the service. Our favorite sushi restaurant in the area without any question. We look forward to returning.

Iâve never been somewhere where I couldnât finish the sushi because it tasted bad, but this was it. The fish seemed fresh but the rolls were just not good. No one in my party finished their food. I would not recommend going here.
Always amazing the only issue seems to be walk-ins but then there are always openings on Opentable so doesn't make any sense. But best sushi place in town!
The dishes are âpicture perfectâ, excellent platting. The problem is, the portions are⦠small. Our salads could fit in the cup of your hand. I ordered the duck special which was 5-6 thin slices of duck breast with a glaze. Thatâs it! And this was the first sushi bar we have dined at where they do not serve wasabi or soy sauce with their rolls. Their drinks are nicely crafted cocktails â A+. I would not recommend for dinner. However, if you are looking for a drink and âlightâ dish date option (this has a fine dinning feel in a casual atmosphere), this would be a good choice. Be sure to sit at the sushi bar or outside (space and weather permitting) as the dinning table area is also tight.
Creative, detailed, delightful, tasty, beautiful - packed in every bite and sip. Our favorite place in Arlington. We love to come here often.
