Don’t. Woefully understaffed (1 server for 10+ tables) and the burger was raw inside. Several other customers complained about raw burgers also. Took over an hour to get served this.
I want to love this place… I really do. I was excited to see that it was it within walking distance of my hotel. Went in, and did not feel particularly welcomed or comfortable. Beer selection, of course, was very good. Had a little trouble getting my order in, they missed me and didn’t follow up, then they were going to comp me for what they missed but failed to comp me. And, they failed to properly post my beer on the app… Definitely not a stress-free, enjoyable visit.
Surprised they don’t have higher ratings! Had delicious draft craft beer (white wheat) on happy hour until 7 pm. The truffle burger was amazing!! (also appreciate tater tots as default side, lol). I have not been able to find food I’ve actually been impressed with in quite awhile, so that’s saying something!Waiter seemed a bit new, but was attentive, nice, and helpful!
I normally really enjoy World of beer and have been to a lot of different locations. We came on a really chill Saturday night and it wasn't busy but I think the place was really short staffed. No one came to our table and we had to get our own drinks at the bar. Food took so long to come out and the chicken was extremely hard and stale is the best way to describe it. We had to go back to the bar to pay for the meal. Overall just terrible service unfortunately.
Obviously a very large selection of beers. Food is OK as well.
Good food and drinks. But the volume of the music is ridiculously LOUD!! Even the bartenders cannot hear your orders, so you gotto yell. And forget about having a conversation with friends. Also, you gotta order at the bar. There’s no service at the tables. Much rather go to other restaurants/bars in Arlington.
What a great atmosphere! Cozy and homelike, but with a wait staff to bring you delicious food and drinks. Look out for that Tropical Iced tea - it will sneak up on you!
Okay so the atmosphere is very chill and super inviting. Visited this location for a date day with Bae. It was a surprise and I was super excited to try some local beers, however our waitress Simone had to come to come back to us at least three times because the beers we choose were not on tap. I get shipment, Coronisha, and regular delays however an updated menu would have really helped alleviate apologies and annoyances. She was super sweet about it, but it definitely dampened the experience. Now the food on the other hand was delicious and they have games under the TV to entertain yourself with. Would I visit again “Yes”, but I’d wait awhile in hopes that more Virginia beers would be on tap. What helped is that its location is across the street from a Target so I was able to get in my shopping fix.
Pretty good place with great food. The bartenders were great. Only thing is for it to be called world of beer I would have expected a larger on tap selection. It’s a ok size selection of on tap choices in comparison to other places I’ve been. They did have my favorite cider which was surprisingly
The beer selection was amazing and delicious but the food was a total bust. The wings were under cooked and soggy and the truffle fries were extremely salty. I'll just go back for the beers and the staff.
