Excellent, comfortable and expansive coffee place to come and focus or hang out with friends. Sofas and chairs are all around with multiple table options. Friendly and helpful staff with good, local coffee. They have a couple grab and go style sandwiches or boiled eggs, so it’s not a sit and eat place (yet!). I would’ve stayed longer if my 2 hour parking didn’t expire. Will be keeping this place in mind for sure and would like to try their gelato sometime.
The absolute best gelato in town! Besides it being a great space to get work done, catch up with a friend, or relax- the gelato just deals the deal! I’ve come here both to work on my laptop by myself, and also with my family for a gelato treat. I love that this place can be both of those things for me. And Adam the manager is a gem! Always smiling and kind- he knows how to create the perfect experience for guests. We love this place!
Best feeling place to work/study/talk in DC area. It's beautiful, high ceilings, skylights/big windows, comfy seats. Warmly welcomes every single shade of human.M-F days is 1/2 Co-work cafe and 1/2 public.
The nonprofit organization I work for rented the front cafe space at Three Whistles for an event series we were hosting, and it was perfect! The rental process was smooth and they were incredibly kind and flexible when we had to reschedule one of our sessions. The staff are welcoming and accommodating (and the drinks are great)! The space itself was clean, cozy, and helped us create the perfect environment for the event we were hosting. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for an event rental space in Arlington, or just a spot to come eat, drink, or work.
The team at Three Whistles is wonderful! My event was seamless, enjoyable, and I felt so taken care of, even with a short timeline of just a few days' notice for my request.Ramzy was wonderful to work with, the staff was accommodating and helpful, and the space itself is beautiful and conducive to conversation and mingling. I'll absolutely have more events here in the future.
Ive consistently had a great experience here, all of the staff members are incredibly kind and the drinks/food are always delicious. Compared to other cafes in the area that are loud and often packed to the brim like Tatte and Starbucks, Three Whistles offers a calm, more enjoyable ambience. Its very connectable tech wise and the hours are incredibility convenient. If I want a coffee, a bite, or a glass of wine and the space and atmosphere to chat with a friend, this place always comes to mind first!
Three Whistles is an incredible space to cowork on the weekend. The combination of earthy decor, great music selection, spacing that allows for work and catching up without disturbing others, and excellent food and drinks makes for the perfect brunch and learn for my friend and I.Having been on both Saturday and Sunday, both days don’t typically begin to get packed until 1pm but the feeling of warmth and productivity is able to maintained as most people around as also working, reading, relaxing, and or eating/drinking.The manager is always incredible and remembers my friend and I which is amazing considering the amount of guests they must see weekly and we come pretty sporadic.Compliments to the baristas and chef as well. Everything that I’ve had has been fantastic!
By far my favorite cafe in Arlington! Great coffee, tea, food, and gelato. There's always plenty of place to sit in and the decor is very warm and cozy. AND they have Latin dance and other evening events?! A true neighborhood gathering place.
This is a very relaxing place to have a coffee, a gelato (did not try their gelato yet), and much more. The decor is very nice as well, and the seats are very comfortable.
Good food, GREAT DRINKS and PASTRIES and GELATO. Always a good time
