Convenient location close to restaurants. No lounge or pool was a disappointment however Ms. Addis at the breakfast restaurant was very helpful in making our mornings more enjoyable with her superior service and extraordinary hospitality.
Perfect location and very friendly staff. Special shout out to Alicia, Joshua and Azeem. All three helped us to get a room earlier so that our son could take his online college exam. As our son wanted to watch the planes from the window they helped us change the room and get a very nice room with river view. Staff is always smiling and friendly greeting. Thank you all making this stay the second time a very nice experience we had as family. As our daughter just joined Georgetown University we will always be staying at this hotel when we come to DC. Cheers J
Check-in was extremely smooth. They were enthusiastic to help with not only the room but also letting us know about all the things to do and see in DC. Josh & Alicia are FANTASTIC! I can’t say enough about their level of service. It’s now one of my favorite hotels in DC.
I was here for a reunion. The hotel was clean, quiet, and located conveniently. I like the bathroom a lot which included a room size window (with a blinder over it) which provided very nice natural light for a morning shower. Very good experience.
Nice facility. Good food and drink at a reasonable rate. Friendly staff. Close to metro station. Clean and spacious rooms. The building is surrounded by a few highrise neighbors, so the window views are limited. But, I was able to get a view of the Potomac.
This hotel is centrally located in the Rosslyn section of Arlington and a 15 minute walk over the bridge to Georgetown. It's location is convenient, and within a few minutes, there are restaurants and the Rosslyn Metro station. About a 10 minute walk away is a Safeway and Target. Traveling to/from Regan National Airport? It's a 10 minute ride on the Metro. The staff were welcoming and pleasant from front desk to the servers in the restaurant. I'd like to mention, Addis, in the restaurant. She was soft-spoken, pleasant, and courteous. What a lovely human being! As an elite member, breakfast was included. You choose an entree off the menu. The menu is one page with a variety of offerings. For the two nights we stayed here, I had an egg-white vegetarian omelet. It comes with toast and hash browns. They were nice enough to swap out the hash browns for a cup of berries. The quality and quantity of the food was excellent. The restaurant has a great view of Georgetown. Before you enter the restaurant, free, self-service illy coffee and a variety of tea's are offered. The public area/lobby between the front desk and the restaurant felt updated and modern. There's a fireplace, which added a cozy vibe. Compared to other Le Meridien's I've stayed at, this property felt a bit out-dated. The front desk area could use a facelift as well as new furniture in the rooms. They appeared used and scratched up. There are some modern fixtures in the room and the hotel does a good job keeping it clean. We had a classic room. Not the largest, but ok for a weekend stay. The fitness center is large offering top-notch cardio equipment (Life Fitness), free weights, and strength training machines. Water and towels are offered. I think this hotel has a lot of potential to be equal to other Le Meridian's if updates are completed throughout. It may not be a 5-star rating, but I'd consider staying here again when in the DC area.
Our family banquet for 50 persons featured delicious food, open bar, a good audio-visual screen and panoramic veranda and all enjoyed the event pretty well. Arrangements were followed just as planned so there were no surprises to disappoint. Parking was very convenient and the hotel has a very tasteful, understated style. The staff was quite courteous throughout.
I loved it! I want to call out Joshua who checked me in Tuesday night. He could not have been nicer and kinder.. You should be super happy you have an employee who represents your hotel like he does. Also Doug who made my lattes at the coffee bar was so friendly and fun to talk to. I do hope you’re valuing, supporting and doing what you can to retain these wonderful people who are interacting so beautifully with your guests. Thank you!!!
Anthony (bellman), Rose (accounting) Thamisa (front desk) and Alicia (front desk were all fantastic. This is a very nice hotel just across the bridge from Georgetown. It took me about 20 minutes to walk to gtown or a $15 ($10 + $5 tip) for an uber to the frontgates of Georgetown. I just really appreciated their friendly demeanor and attempts to go the extra mile to give me great service. I had a minor credit card issue (my boss's fault) and Rose helped me quickly and efficiently. I had a corner room with a nice view and just really liked the setup.
There was a minor issue with my room and staff was quick to switch me over to an upgraded room plus free breakfast. I had a good time and really enjoyed my stay. Location is great. View is awesome from top floor. Outdoor seating is awesome to watch planes descending since an airport is close by. Staff is amazing. Will definitely be back and definitely recommend it. Thanks to all the staff especially Josh and Alicia
