Everyone is so wholesome and sweet here. There’s a tiny old Italian man that offered me a taste of wines and talked about them with me. I came here as a child with my grandparents but recently decided I should come back as an adult. After all these years the magic has only grown. The atmosphere is nothing but positive and the food and wine is to die for! I meant to come for a sandwich and left having spend $73 on food and wine! I don’t regret a single penny spent and look forward to my next stop in for more. Cannot recommend enough!

It’s an authentic Italian grocery shop with deli. I had a cheese slice. it was okay. Definitely not NY style pizza.

I used to love this place especially for the pizza. Now the pizza is still good I love the cheese pizza. The customer service is cold and rude. This place used to be so nice. The staff was warm and friendly, the guys that made the sandwiches & pizza were so cool! But now it’s like this coldness with the staff I miss the old lady that used to be at the register this was before COVID way before. I have not tried the other location yet maybe I will go there since other reviewers are saying that the people are nicer there. I don’t know what change is it the atmosphere or what? Honestly the atmosphere in the area has changed.

I love this establishment. The sandwiches are delicious. The selection of pastas, wines and accoutrements is exceptional. The staff (often young) is friendly, professional, and thorough. Attending either of the stores is always a joy and reminds me of authentic NYC Italian deli's in my native city.

I used to love this place. It may be due to covid, but you have to call your sandwich in now instead. I ordered a turkey and cheese and was given an extremely cold and soggy roll of s pre-made turkey and cheese with no mayo or anything. I should have just stepped outside and called my order in. Everyone working was extremely rude. I wonder if the other location is doing that with their sandwiches. Very disappointing

Best subs in DMV. Call your order in to select custom toppings! Great high end Italian groceries as well.

By far the best pizza in the DMV area from my experience both stores are great. I've only ever bought ?'s from these stores. But I've heard their subs are just as amazing. Expect to pay $25 on a large pie but so worth it. I live about thirty plus minutes away and still worth the drive to pick it up.

I love the large Palermo with sweet peppers on a hard roll. Best sandwich they’ve got without a doubt. The white pizza is amazing too. Order ahead by phone if you want anything customized. Highly recommended!

Pizzas are fantastic. Ingredients taste high quality, from the cheese to the toppings to the bread. Already been back to try more pizza- have had the suprema, mushroom, Nico’s. All were good and really depends on what mood you’re in. Sandwiches were underwhelming, though they’ve cut down selections since the pandemic. Will give those a try when they bring back the good stuff. Deli is convenient for anything else you might need. Potato and egg salad were decent but won’t get again. Tiramisu is fantastic!

Best sandwiches and an excellent place to stock up on handmade pastas, fresh cheeses, and various Italian novelty snacks and products. I wish they made and sold rainbow cookies, but I'm happy to settle for the very delicious pizzas they make on-site.
