I'm from NYC and this place reminds me of home. Fresh quality food and awesome customer service with the New York style.
This is probably the only honest review on here..This place is overrated!!!Everything was bland!!!! The steak and cheese was so unseasoned they might as well just gave us lettuce. The cold cut tasted like an unseasoned bologna sandwich. The pizza was given was hot out the overnight that the topping melted off the top.How this place stays busy I have no idea. This just shows people have no taste buds and will pay for literally anything.Also, this place looks like it hasn’t been cleaned since it opened. From the parking lot to the dining area, all filthy!! The door was so nasty and greasy you can see the dirt.How they are still in business is crazy to me! They care nothing about food quality, taste, or cleanliness. I guess Arlington residents don’t mind paying to eat out of dirty kitchen!
Really 3.5 stars. Found out about this one via some must check out list online. Food is a simple menu. Order cheese steaks or there's not much else.Food was decent but not as good as I was hoping for from the definite whole in the wall feel.It's an older building. Okay but they're in need of a lot of cleaning. All the tables were dirty along with the floor. We sat at the cleanest. While we were there no one came out from behind the counter to clean the tables. And the bathroom was not only an architectural nightmare but wasn't clean or stocked up on anything.Overall if you don't mind having a Waffle house type experience with a ordering counter, this could be your next place.
Cheese Steak and French fries were really good. Liked that they didn’t over-salt the food and had salt shakers at the table to salt to taste. They didn’t have non-sweet tea and the establishment looks and feels dirty which is reflected in the review. Overall good tasting food but needs more attention to cleanliness.
This place has been here forever and it's still the best. I moved away from this area for years and have recently come back. Aside from the ice cream machine going extinct, this place is the exact same. The pizza and steak and cheese subs are the best. Yes the place could use some TLC but it's the original floors and tables and everything so yes it looks old. They don't have a janitor clenaing the tables every second. It has amazing food and the employees aren't looking to serve snotty people. Go get a sub and a pizza and you will be very happy.
I was really craving a cheesesteak, so I went on a mission to find a good restaurant. This is a little ma & pa place and it did not disappoint! They made my order correctly and quickly. I will definitely be making my way back here.The fries were fresh and crispy! What more can you ask for?
This is my place to go when I want a good steak and cheese sandwich. I've been going to the broiler on and off for about the past 30 years and I've never had a bad sandwich. The deluxe is the best.

I grew up eating here. I will admit I rarely have the pizza, which is fantastic. I enjoy getting a 12" deluxe with fries, and eating half on-site. Saving the rest for a follow up meal. Even cold, I rate there subs above most. The only downside is the parking. Park on the street around the corner, trust me.
