Great Mediterranean cafe for food, hookah, and working.

Stopped by Tarbouch for a quick lunch after a client meeting in Arlington. Didn't realize it is also a hookah bar, but we sat on the non smoking side of the restaurant.Service was excellent, as was my chicken shawarma with a side salad. Delicious! The shawarma seemed authentic to me, though I'm not an expert. The food seems to be a blend of Middle Eastern with a Greek influence. My business associate ordered a pepperoni pizza, which had a very thin crust and was just so-so. They also have burgers and other "American" style offerings, but I recommend sticking with the Middle Eastern specialties. The giant modernized picture of Salvador Dali on the dining room wall was a good conversation piece too.I'd definitely return.

We ordered a large chicken shawarma hummus plate that came with puffed pita bread and it was delicious. Falafel mezze plate could have been better. Lamb chop entree was great except that the rice could have been more flavourful.

Food wasn’t good at all specialty the fatoush salad and the potato with garlic wasn’t cooked I don’t recommend this place at all Not even for hookah they give me different flavor

I ordered a shawerma combo platter and a beef shawerma sandwich yesterday for pick up. Unfortunately, the shawerma was nothing but grease and tons of garlic. It was lacking any authentic taste of shawerma...After building a trade name, they let quality down the drain....

Best Iftar ever , excellent quality food fresh and tasty !!! I will say best restaurant food in DMV area!

The food was very disappointing and the prices are much more than the website's menu (for example, manqooshi online is $3.5 but in store it's $6). The grilled shawrma was fried chicken pieces instead of proper shawrma, and the kefta was clearly frozen and lacked flavor. There's also no ambiance or anything to give a vibe. I left completely unsatisfied with the food and the overall experience.

Great place for really good authentic Mediterranean/Arab food….and the Chai was amazing. Service is really good. Dia our server was very friendly and provided outstanding services. Sorry forgot to take pix.

Today my cousin and I decided to go to Tarbouch after so long. I haven’t been here since the start of pandemic and was really looking forward to it. I still decided to call them beforehand to confirm the hours before we make any plans. I called the restaurant around 10 p.m. and was told the kitchen is open until 12:30 a.m. but the restaurant itself is open until 1 a.m. I thanked the gentleman on the phone and told him I’ll be there soon. I drove an hour + and got there around 11:45 but was told the kitchen is closed. The gentleman I spoke to on the phone came out from the back and said they had to close the kitchen early because of a ‘gas leakage’ lol. If there was a gas leakage, why do you still have customers sitting there and smoking hookah? Before he came out, I spoke with two different guys and both of them just said ‘kitchen is closed’ and didn’t mention anything about the gas leakage. I understand it was a weekday but I literally called before I left the house. So disappointed.

Quite possibly my favorite food in Arlington. We get food from here once a week, the family that owns it is incredibly kind and the staff are all amazing. Been coming here for what feels like almost a decade, and even while on keto, there are food options we were still getting.Food quality is great, back when I smoked the hookah was wonderful. They have my favorite shawarma and hummus, and fantastic cheeseburger.10/10 all around, try the hummus with lamb!
