Lives up to the hype! Most delicious tamales I’ve ever had, packed with flavor, and very filling tacos made with fresh ingredients. Chicken tacos were a bit more flavorful than the shrimp but the mess made eating both was worth it. Extremely fair prices too for the amount, and very easy to eat gluten free here. Oh and the margaritas? Also live up to the hype with multiple layers of flavor. Ok I’ll be quiet now.
A group of 14 had dinner here this evening. There were many choices offered and made from their menu. They have numerous signature. Margarita versions. Their food menu includes all the favorites and appetizers and entrees that are familiar and enjoyable. The food was tastefully prepared. Our server was responsive and the food came quickly. I would consider the pricing moderate.
One of my go to spots for tex-mex style food. Everything is great here. Whether I like it or not. Best guacamole, outside of my own. The house salsa is great with thier super crispy chips. I personally love the crispy beef tacos. Great flavor, and so juicy. If you ever catch it. I highly recommend the crab meat quesadilla. Service is always great. And the owner (I think he's the owner) is always around to share a great story. Let's not forget about the margaritas. Made just the way I like them. Limey, and with a heavy hand of tequila. The selection of tequila, and the different styles of margaritas is amazing as well. I will miss this location when it's gone.
Visited here while visiting DC. The place was clean, spacious, and the staff was very friendly and attentive. The good was very good and the portions were plenty. There were seven of us and everyone loved their meal. I had the fish tacos and my wife the tamales. I would definitely eat here again and even members of the family commented on the food while we were still in D.C. Best margaritas in the area. The Tres Enchiladas are always ?. Will be back for more. And if you loved the ? you can always grab some to-go.
The tres leche cake was delightful!!
Came here on a Friday night hoping to have some drinks and relax after working from home all week. Was there for 1.5 hours and it was a painful experience- ordered the first drink when I got there, waited 30 mins, didn’t see the waitress again until we asked for the check. Some other guy had to come take our order and drop off our food. So disappointing and will go to the Irish Pub from now on when the opportunity arises. The worst part is the Owner was behind the bar and moderately busy and there were only two tables with people at them. No excuse to let people sit in your restaurant and obviously searching for someone to actually serve them. If you do choose this place sit at the bar because it’s the only place you’ll get service
Ordered the lobster tacos and seafood soup. The soup was ok, but the tacos left a lot to be desired. The tortilla (white flour) seemed a little stale and the lobster over fried. It was also doused in the sauce. The beans and guac also looked like they had been in the fridge for a while.
Always, always get the queso appetizer. If you eat meat, get it with the chorizo. The margaritas are also excellent! I love the Tres Enchiladas plate. Parking is available in the garage behind the restaurant. I've always had great service experiences. No complaints!
Thomas (owner) and the team are amazing and extremely hospitable. The margaritas were freshly made and perfection to taste. The food was quick and delicious. We will come back again! Also, the queso is legend!
