This place is awesome it’s Mexican but with a little twist. The birria Crunchwrap with the broth is a must grab. The elote was pretty good. Only thing I don’t like about the restaurant is that it’s so small and you are you’re own server which can be irritating but for this food I’m willing to do that.
Eryting I'm a big fan of tacos
Went on Friday with family and friends, all of us got sick, called to the restaurant to let them know and did not receive any response, Shelly who is the manager just said that we probably got sick in another place, not even a follow up to see that they care about guests. Very disappointed with this place.
Becca, our bartender, was AMAZING! All around great vibes, happy hour on the weekend, and margaritas on point! Great service and all around fun time. My go to place for any drinks and food on the week days or weekend?
It’s sad to say but the quality has gone down conaiderably over the last few years since they opened.I recently took some team members here for lunch and left feeling disappointed. For starters, they had a limited menu on a Thursday - many of their non taco items including nachos were not available. I asked one of the gentlemen behind the counter if they still had the crunchwrap and he was curt in his reply that they still did but took it off the menu that day with no explanation.Food itself was okay but for the price and with an unpredictable menu, I’ll be recommending other taco spots from now on.
Delicious bespoke tacos. Ingredients ensured flavors were vibrant in your mouth. Will need to adjust their hours of "opperation".
Big FYI - So no one makes the same mistake that I did!! I previously had a great review of the restaurant Taco Rock - but we will definitely NOT be going back after today!! We went to the Annandale location & it was a little extra sunny in their outside seating area. Since they have a wide open inside area (basically the same as sitting outside) we found a table in their dining section (not the bar). The music was a little loud but not bad & I figured it was good to mask noisy 4 yr old and baby noises. They also have a wall sized TV screen that they were showing the music videos on. After waiting for a (long) while for our food, we finally get it and begin to eat when some completely gorey disturbing video/song came on!! Like some dark demonic scenes of a guy being cut open and bleeding out black blood everywhere!! I couldn't even react quickly enough & of course my 4 yr old sees some of it and is horrified!! Crying pretty much inconsolable saying that was "the saddest thing she's ever seen" ??? We quickly moved outside, then got to-go boxes and left. But the damage was already done.... We don't watch scary movies much less expose our 4 yr old to that so we are now having many talks about "fake" scenes and that some art is scary but not all people like that sort of thing - I'm sure this is going to be an ongoing issue for a while now. As I'm trying to wipe out these horror scenes from her memory ? Not appetizing content for any age!! Anyways HUGE Mom Fail on my part!!! But I wanted to warn others that this is NOT a family friendly restaurant!! I'll take the responsibility and not so easily just assume some bar/restaurant is family friendly again ?? I should add that quite a few staff saw us inside & outside & never checked in or approached us. It wasn't late at night either - 4pm on a Sunday.
I have came here once weekly since finding it about 4 weeks ago. It is about an hour and 15 minutes from my home but the birria is far worth it. I’ve tried 6 different places local to me for birria prior to and nothing comes. Today was great as well. Not drawback was the rice was a little under cooked this time! Pictured is the birria x3, Al pastor, grouper and chicken tacos
super delicious! i had cauliflower general tso's, memphis, and colonel sanders tacos. they were all spectacular! also had the street corn and sampled the birria crunch wrap. will absolutely be back. super delish!
This place was clean and hip with nice outdoor seating. They had the tastiest tacos I have ever had. I should have eaten here every day!
