This is my second time eating at Taco Bamba, but first for the Ballston location. It has that welcoming feel that I consider unique to taco bamba. I got four tacos. The Taco Bamba- totally a classic, and then one chorizo taco dirty, and two other traditional tacos, all of them were amazing. My only critique is sometimes the menu is very overwhelming, I wish I could get simplified combos. I also love the bar they have in these places. Since I’m travelling I decide to put a few back and started with the Oaxacan sunrise which was a fun drink. Definitely a place to cool off an go for quality tacos on a hot summer day.
***VEGETARIAN REVIEWER***Great place to get your taco craving but with a twist! Inside itself is pretty small but they do have outdoor seating. They have a wide variety of DELICOUS salsa in their Salsa Bar (with a brief description and spice level).MUST TRY ?:• Spicy Shroom (a little dry but adding some salsa from the Salsa Bar helps tremendously! Also doesn't really taste like mushrooms at all so if you're a not a mushroom person like me you can still get it!)• Salim Abu Aziz (tastes like an Indian dish inside a naan with a Tex Mex twist. LOVED IT! Can get a little messy so beware)
Yummy! Excellent Service Friendly staff!
I just moved in the area and got recommended this taco place. Stopped by and it smelled pretty good! Ordered a few traditional and more speciality tacos. They were super friendly and helpful. They have their own little salsa bar to pick and choose which flavors you want. The tacos were great!! Tacos were fresh and had lots of flavor and meat. Their queso was good too. Definitely recommend stopping by if you’re in the area and wanna eat tacos.
The food is always exceptional and they have something for everyone. What really separates TB from other local establishments is their customer service. They're ALWAYS busy, but when they're late or forget something, they always make it right. We ordered some churros, but they didn't make it in our pickup bag. The manager called us, made a fresh batch, and delivered them to our door personally. Amazing.
I came here hungry and just looking for something quick near work. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. It was quick, nice atmosphere (quite small, but there is outdoor seating), and they have sauces at the tables to complement whatever it is you're eating. The 'tacos tradicionales' - with just protein, diced onion, and cilantro - are phenomenal. Just a couple will do, and the meat was tender and packed with flavor. Will definitely be coming back!
We were staying at the hotel next door and stopped by to get dinner our first night. It took 40 minutes, and the staff/manager weren't too cognizant of the guests time. Food was flavorful but portions were smaller than expected, the cashier wasn't too helpful with explaining the menu options. Great concept I love taco bars and I think they have a potential to be better than Chipotle however the rudeness left a bad taste in my mouth. Also if there's pork in food items it should be clearly listed on the menu. I'm not sure I'd eat here again.
Went for the 1st time around 5pm and it was super busy but the staff was great and the food was excellent so I didn’t even care about waiting
So we've ordered from here the last 2 weeks, this is by far our favorite taco spot!! Everything is fantastic!! Were definitely addicted. Highly recommend the "Fun girl", The Peruvian taco, and the "biggie" , some of our favorites! The only downfall is I wish this place was more of a full service restaurant, it's more of a pick up spot or a casual dining spot. Either way we are returning customers.
Taco Bamba is legit and so good! Helpful staff create fresh tacos anyway you want them and the food is cooked on the spot, ensuring a filling meal and a reason to return. Don't walk by this place until you've tried it.
