Nice interior. Plenty of waitstaff. Dining room is partially packed at lunchtime. Had a fairly large party and they had no problem in servicing the group of 20+ folks. Food is very good too; it was so good that we ended up ordering extra food to go for additional family members that were unable to go. Plenty of parking nearby. So go to this restaurant!
My favorite Thai food place in Arlington. Food is great but so are the servers. They are very helpful. There is this one server who if you show him a picture of what you want he will help you order. He also gives recommendations if you tell him what you are looking for. I've been back 3 times over the last Month.
I love Thai. This is now my new favorite Thai restaurant. The chef elevates the cuisine by combining the highest quality of ingredients with lots of imagination and top notch cooking skills. There's a dumpling sampler that is a delightful way to discover those talents.
T.H.A.I. In Shirlington is a pretty well know spot in this part of VA. I went there with my PM for an appraisal review. To start the meal we ended up getting Assorted Dumplings. They were all delicious until my PM found a piece of plastic in his wonton. It was a scary moment because he choked on it. Fortunately he was fine. The waiter took the rest of the food to the back to find out what happened. They found out that a piece of a plastic bowl broke and went inside the wonton. Subsequently, he removed the Assorted Dumplings from our bill and gave use another batch free of charge. Aside from this incident the food and service were good.
Great Food. I will always miss their Thai wings, they should bring them back. But the food is really delightful. Me and my son enjoyed the Crab Roll and Calamari but the menu is very admirable. Been eating here since I had my first real job at 15. I'm 39 and would always recommend their food for Thai lovers and experimenters. ❣️
Fantastic food! Ordered the Panang Perfect chicken combo right at the end of lunch hour - the owner was kind enough to still offer lunch specials when we were seated before the end and ordered after.The portion was enough to feed me for the whole day and the curry was creamy, nutty and just the right amount of spice. Awesome service too, will definitely have to try again if I'm in the area!
Ordered here bc the reviews were so high but it’s some of the worst Thai food I’ve had. The popcorn shrimp- there were 11, the sticky mango rice was the smallest portion of bruised mango, and the Penang curry was terrible.
I would always come whenever I wanted to eat out. And I love it so much. Employees are the nicest people in the world. The food is amazing. Bring your Partners here for a date or kids or even by yourself the people will be nice and the food will be great either way.
I am never disappointed with THAI in Shirlington. The service is always great, and the food is always delicious. I’m a huge fan of the drunken noodles, spicy basil fried rice, pan-seared squash potstickers, and garlic chive wafers. But other dishes I’ve had were also delicious. This is a regular for my wife and I.
Such amazing Thai but on top of that the staff is friendly and attentive. The green curry was light, delicate and delicious. Would definitely come back. Ambiance was great and good menu in general.
