This place, OMG, where to begin with this place. The people who run this place are food geniuses, or more accurately they’re food sorcerers. Every single thing on their menu just explodes flavor. It’s a small place and they have some of the best and freshest ingredients that creates some of the best food around. Plus, their cocktails are like they have professional mixologists working behind the counter.
This place is official. The service was great and the food was sensational. Our host, also named Alex, was outstanding. When we first passed by, we asked about the Cuban sandwich and his response was amazing. We were so impressed that we decided to eat there for lunch.When we returned, Alex greater us with a smile and suggested the Short Rib sandwich. He told us about the marinade process the meat goes through and I was sold. I got mine with fries. Toasted roll with Chipotle airlines, Avocado, arugula and an Ancho Chile Braised and then Pulled Short Rib topped with Gruyere cheese..... that sounds right up my alley.Let me tell you the fries were cooked to perfect, such so that I finished 3/4 of em before taking a bite from the sandwich. The Short Rib sandwich did not disappoint. It was packed with layer upon layer of flavor. Such a great sandwich that I just had to rave about it.The only thing I regret is not taking pictures. Some of the other items I tried were the Home-made, hand-cut chips. They were light crispy and full of flavor. For dessert I went for the Deep fried Oreos. Fenominal. My co-worker and I tried the Chocolate Bread pudding and were just blown away by the awesome goodness we had just experienced.This is a great place to grab a bite and really enjoy a simple lunch. Every once in a while, a restaurant comes along that you can tell doesn’t cut corners and takes pride in its menu.Superette is that restaurant for me today.It’s not easy to impress me (just look at my review history!) but they did it.I had the short rib sandwich. I’ve had plenty of “short rib” in the past which I can easily taste as a pulled rib roast or something else. Superette clearly cooked and braised their short rib. And the taste is clearly amazing.My hats off to them and hope everyone else sees what I do.
Very nice and cute sandwich shop. I got the Cubano sandwich and plain potato chips, which were both very good. The staff were nice as well. A little on the pricey side, though, but worth a try. The food portions are fairly generous, too.
Their Reuben is made to classic specifications, but could’ve used another slice of meat. It’s served with a unique delicious side salad that was a nice surprise. A bit on the pricey side.
Service was great! My sandwich was yummy and the fries were yummy. Very interested in going back to try some other items on the menu. Don't miss the frose it is a must order.
Cannot go wrong with this place. Every sandwich is good looking! I got the short rib and it melted in my mouth, worth the extra money. I also got a wine and it paired perfectly. The staff are more than willing to accommodate everyone and a friendly to all. They also keep the place clean! Keep up the good work!
had the cheesesteak and it was phenomenal. the bread was nice and soft and the meat was tender and juicy. they were out of fries, but the homemade sour cream and onion chips were amazing. the fried oreos are a must! they came with this tasty cinnamon dipping sauce. the staff was friendly and helpful. i can't wait to go back and try more!
Great sandwiches and amazing sides! The ranch chips are out of this world, and my dining partner claimed that the cubano sandwich “made her feel like she was back in Florida, without having to deal with the general population of Florida”!
