My first restaurant review. I had drunken noodles and it was the saltiness drunken noodles that I ever had. About halfway through, I didn’t even want to finish the meal because it just tasted like a chunk of salt. I feel like this dish exceeds the recommended daily value of sodium. I had to drink about 24oz of water at home to cleanse my palate. I think I threw my money away today.
This was an amazing experience. We had gone there two days in a row and both times the food was good. I loved it all, the staff, the food. After leaving Vegas, I was devastated that I couldn't go for a long time. I feel this place is extremely underrated but it shouldn't be. I want it to grow so much and I wish the staff best of luck. People should come and eat your restaurants food.
we had fried tofu appetizer- hot and tasty; pad Thai excellent, grilled chicken with vegetables and peanut sauce very good ?
Very good food. It’s one of the more authentic Thai restaurants in the area. It has amazing food but it’s also more expansive than other Thai restaurants. I really enjoyed the summer roles, they were fresh and no flavorful. I loved that they served pineapple fried rice on a pineapple plate. Cold singha on tap is bonus!
We went back yesterday after over 3 years and we were really surprised. The dumpling is smelling, inedible. The shrimp/vegetables marinated in soy sauce, no taste. In addition it was over priced. The waitress was rude and unpleasant. It was 9:30pm Saturday evening peoples are still eating and they start cleaning up the floor.
We used to go to this restaurant in the past and it was quite good. We went back for a dinner last night after two years absence and it was a terrible experience. The Dumplings were smelling, the main courses were terrible vegetables overcooked too much Soy sauce absolutely no flavors, food was overpriced and the service was very very bad. We will never go back there
Was staying at hotel nearby so decided to get my pad Thai fix. Unfortunately, it was one of the worst pad Thai I’ve come across. It was soggy, extremely sour, with broken noodles. Couldn’t finish it. It didn’t help that the price was pretty high. I do not recommend this place for pad Thai!
It was a very terrible experience yesterday. When we arrived the table was dirty, we asked to clean it up. We started with a dumpling but it was smelling very bad, we had to give them back. The waitress was unpleasant. In top of that it was overpriced.
Ordered from here quite a bit even though it's very overpriced ($17 for vegetable fried rice?!). Spent $60 last time, and one entree (the fried rice) was inedible because it was terribly burnt. Instead of calling on a weekend night, I called Sun afternoon when I knew they'd be less busy. The woman who answered the phone was rude, insulting, and basically told me she "could not give me a restaurant credit". I was not even asking for a refund, mind you. Just credit for an inedible entree that I paid $17 for so I can buy MORE from them. After arguing with her she insisted that I had not ordered from them at all because she couldn't find me in the system. I told her I'd happily forward her the receipt, which she insisted on. I emailed the receipt. Two mins later she called back demanding that I send her PICTURES OF THE BURNT RICE. I actually still had it in my fridge so I even did that. No response after multiple follow ups. All that to not give me $17 credit for rice. I'm now seeing a lot of other reviews with similar experiences with their staff. Go to Bangkok 54 instead.
I'm not normally a huge fan of Thai, but this place is absolutely exceptional. From the outside, this place looks very understated. On the inside, it's beautifully decorated, with excellent food presentation. The environment is nice and quiet, great for a date night or meeting (if you care to hear the other person). The soups are bar none the best I've had in any circumstance. The food is delicious and moderate in portion size. Most everything is spicy, but just enough to enhance the flavors. The overall variety and blend of flavors is truly fantastic and complex, and not something easily replicated at home. One of my favorites here is the Sapporo on draft. This is an unusual treat that keeps me coming back.Service is good as well. Always attentive and pleasant and thankfully not too overbearing. Two big thumbs up to Sawatdee. I highly recommend this place, especially for an in-person visit.
