Barbecue varies so much from place to place. I tried the pork ribs and a 1/4 chicken platter. The chicken was tasty with a nice smoke flavor. Not to dry. The ribs were done well and I enjoyed them immensely. The sauce was good, but not my favorite. The beans were the bomb. Cole slaw was not to my liking. Overall Rocklands is pretty good.

It's Memorial Day and wanting something different than my norm I ordered from Rocklands. They NEVER disappoint and today was no exception. My food arrived earlier than the given estimated time still warm and the bottled sodas cold. The food was perfectly seasoned and hit the spot. You really can't ask for anything more from PERFECTION.

Consistently delicious food. Seasonal favorites are worth a try, including cherry wings. Yum. Some of our preferred items are pulled pork, cucumber mint salad, baked beans, pecan pie, and fried okra. My go to for carryout. Staff is pleasant and helpful as well.

Great value. Good amount of food for price relative to what I’ve had in the area for barbeque. Got beef ribs, spare ribs, Mac and cheese, slaw, brisket. Probably would just get beef ribs and Mac again, and the other things. To be honest, it’s not the best I’ve had but it gets the job done- especially with the price and vibe. It’s comfortable to eat there. Definitely coming back to the more!

Wonderful service. I ordered the ribs and it was more food than I expected. But it was all delicious!!

Just tried Rocklands for the first time and I was highly impressed!! I had the grilled chicken sandwich with fries and a Caesar salad. The food was fresh and tasted amazing. I ordered ahead online and was ready relatively quick. I have nothing bad to say about this place.

Long time best BBQ and brew in Arlington County.

I've had Rocklands before a couple times when they catered at a work event and it was good. Unfortunately my experience in the restaurant wasn't good. The brisket and macaroni were both cold for me and the sides were cold for another person at my table. I wouldn't return here.

I got sliced brisket and some sides to go. Brisket was pretty dry and didn’t have any inherent flavor. Way too expensive for the sub avg quality and quantity. Sides were good but also overpriced for quantity.I’ve been twice and both times have been disappointing.

Fun place, good que and sides. I like the pork but chicken and brisket are very good. Friendly helpers. The root beer in frosted mug is good. Bar is a good hangout/enjoy-a-game place. Tip: if you like REALLY hot sauce they have a wooden box with the best. Ask for the box but get a couple glasses of root beer (or milk).
