Amazing food here the portions are just right. Now for the flavor my gosh it's good with kimchi. Been here twice and I have my taste buds going all over. Add all the veggies, scallions, kimchi pulled pork and cabbage
Great food, great people. Yall must try the fried chicken
Pretty pricy even with the decent portion size. I was really disappointed in the kimchi bowl. It was dry and lacking a lot of flavor with barely any kimchi to be found.
Used to be wayyy better. Changed their menu and now the chicken is on par with what you’d find at a Chinese buffet. Used to hold my nose paying $14 for glorified street food because it was so good but now it’s totally not worth it. Still good portions though.
I ordered the OG Rice with chicken and pulled pork. The pulled pork was amazing along with the veggies I got too which were broccoli, mushrooms and onions. Staff was really nice too and their ordering system was interesting. Essentially filling out what you want on their printed cards. I'd suggest this place if you're into rice bowls because of the wide range of ingredients too. Bonus points for the free water too.
A few months ago if I had to rate Rice Crook, I would’ve given this place 6 stars if I could. I absolutely loved this spot, always craved it, and came here regularly. But when I arrived at Quarter Market the other night for dinner with the intentions of ordering food from my favorite stand, I found instead that the entire menu had changed. No bao buns, different protein options, and the rice bowl toppings/sauces were not the same. Despite my initial disappointment, I wanted to give this “new” Rice Crook a chance in hopes that maybe it was still really good, so I ordered a pulled pork fried rice bowl (close to my typical order on the previous menu). And unfortunately, I was completely disappointed. The bowl was boring, the flavor was bland, and the pork was lacking. Not anywhere even close to being in the same league as the old Rice Crook dishes (which were amazing!) So sad.
Their fried rice is on point! I got mine with the Korean fried chicken and it was super flavorful.
The food here tastes very good, and the people that work here are nice. The only problem is that I found the portions too be a bit too small and too pricey. I had the Korean barbecue bowl, which did taste very good. The food also came out very quickly.
This place is awesome. I have only had the Bao buns but this was my second time. Easily my favorite place to eat in the area. The flavors are so on point. I had the shrimp, Korean bbq and Korean fried chicken bao. Each one absolutely delicious.
I don’t really leave reviews but I have to say this is the most flavorful rice bowl I’ve ever had!!!
