Can't say enough about this place! My wife and I planned to come by for some time and it did not disappoint! The staff was very kind. The classic chicken sandwich and fries were THE BEST WE EVER HAD! The chicken was very juicy and came in a generous size! To top off our first experience, we met the man himself, Chef Rock. He is incredible and down to Earth. It was an honor to meet him and support this outstanding restaurant! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED IF YOU ARE IN THE DC AREA!

Wow! I am always on hunt for a good fried chicken sandwich and these were probably the best in the DC area. The chicken was perfectly crispy but still juicy on the inside. The mother sauce is the perfect sandwich sauce and the spicy mambo sauce was great to dip fries in. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone in search of an amazing fried chicken sandwich!
HOLY MOLY. I’ve been wanting to try Queen Mother’s for a while now, and this weekend, my husband and I finally went. We both got the original chicken sandwich and split the fries (obviously with mother sauce and buttermilk ranch on the side), and we only live ~5 minutes away, so the food was still piping hot when we got home. First bite- my husband declares it's “the best chicken sandwich I’ve ever had. No competition.” He, and every other glowing review, was right. Everything about the sandwich was so well balanced and delicious- the chicken was well seasoned and juicy with a super crispy exterior, and the soft and semi-sweet bun with the mother sauce and pickles took it to “best ever” status. We will definitely be back- soon.
First time visiting Queen Mother’s, but it definitely will not be my last. The location was visually appealing, clean and friendly environment. The hostess provided warm greeting and quickly took our order - the B.L.T. Chicken sandwich and fries with mother sauce. The flavor, crispy texture and size of sandwich was amazing. The highlight for me was meeting Owner/Chef Rock. Already planning my next visit ?

I come from the south and have had fried chicken all over the US and the world, this is without a doubt the best fried chicken sandwich I have ever eaten. Stop looking looking anywhere else and go to Queen Mother's. The chicken was juicy and crisp, the brioche bun was amazing, and the sauce put any other to shame. The fries were flavorful and crispy. I called ahead and even though I couldn't place my order of the phone, he made sure the fries and sandwich were hot and fresh when I got to order in person. You can really taste the love in the food!!
The new menu items are amazing! I can’t go to Queen Mothers and not order one of the juicy chicken sandwiches. But those new hot dogs looked so good we had to try them! The "Brown Sandals" came with pulled pork and onion strings and was sooooo good. Hot, juicy hot dog. The toppings were good. The pulled pork was good on its own and the onion straws were perfect on top! Bad news is, I still don’t know how I’ll chose between the chicken or the dog next time!
I ordered the classic chicken sandwich, duck fat fries and potatoe salad. I was SO satisfied!! The sandwich is perfectly seasoned, sustainably sourced, juicy and crispy! The buttered brioche bun takes this sandwich to the next level!As a side, potatoe salad is a winner! Almost like going to a cookout! Fried chicken and potatoe salad brings home fond memories.And you can’t go wrong with duck fat fries. Period! Period!Great meal! If I lived closer it would be my go-to! I can’t go back to chic-fil-a without having flashbacks of this meal.
