So tasty and fun. Got our crab fix with a bucket to Natty Bo. A perfect night.
They responded immediately to my request to have my husband’s funeral luncheon following the ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery. We were able to have it outside in their enclosed area. The food and service were outstanding. I highly recommend this restaurant for an enjoyable dining experience.
It’s not a cheap outing, but great food in a casual atmosphere. And it doesn’t get much better than a table full of spiced, steamed crabs, and a pitcher of cold beer on a hot summer day.
The seafood here is fresh and amazing and does not disappoint. Our server Kat was excellent. We came too late for the raw seafood bar and blue crabs (it was Monday and they stopped serving these at 9pm) but it was ok because the crab dip, crab cakes and po' boy were amazing. Note: We went on a Monday night after a long flight to DC so we were pretty tired. It was 9pm and we were seated next to a table of 4-6 very LOUD and drunk servers from the restaurant who had gotten off work. My husband and I were servers for years, and he worked at Bonefish Grill and I worked at a 5-star steakhouse, and we did not think that their volume or behavior was quite appropriate since there were still other diners in the restaurant.
We live in Florida….. My husband grew up in Maryland and wanted to go to a crab house when we were visiting DC. We saw this place online and decided to go try it. We were not disappointed- it was great! My husband was in heaven picking and eating crabs. Great food, great experience. Only bad thing was women restroom out of order- so I had to use mens. Other than that- everything was fantastic!!!!
This place seems to have been here forever. Very nice and the food was really good. I had an issue though, because I forgot to ask about spices on the fries. They were so very accommodating – they made me whole new fries without any spices. In fact they were very accommodating about several food allergies. Really nice wait staff. But pay attention, because it is not exactly disability friendly. The restrooms are either upstairs or downstairs.
Great atmosphere, quick service, and wonderful food. The clam chowder was fantastic, I did get some grit from the clams in a few bites though.The scallops were cooked perfectly, lightly seasoned, and had a wonderful sauce.The salad was fresh and crisp.
Great wings and service. My friend want crab cakes and when she called Tony indicated there was no wait. When we got there he was correct. You can make reservations. I got Buffalo Wings and she got crab cakes, mussels, mash potatoes and broccoli. Everything looked, tasted and smelled delicious. They may be known for the whole crabs they serve, but other food is there as well. There's also a bar and to go area on the other side.
Food came out fresh and delicious, location was very nice and quiet. Definitely a must to check this place out if you're looking for a reasonably priced seafood meal.
Great food, atmosphere and staff! Chose this restaurant on a whim and it was amazing, we tried a wide range, from old bay wings and hush puppies to the crabs and scallops! Everything was so delicious. The mixed drinks were very good as well!Staff was very friendly and helpful with the menu and meals! Overall an amazing experience and would go back any day!!
