The muscles and pork belly buns were delicious. The ribs were okay according to my husband. I ordered the salmon with pea purée and fingerling potatoes. Let me tell you about the salmon, pea purée, and the potatoes. The salmon was cooked properly, the potatoes were bland, and I was not a fan of the pea purée. I know how itâs suppose to look and and taste for I make it at home often. The peas had a sour, kind of like a âspoiledâ taste. My husband and I spent all day in the DC area looking at the monuments, thus I didnât really eat much but dinner. When we got back to the Airbnb, I puked all my food out. It did not sit well with me and I didnât feel great. Iâve never had this feeling before. The only thing I can blame was my main meal. Besides the food not sitting well, the service was quick and friendly. Iâm sure we wonât return based on my experience.
Entertaining business guests from out of town. Restaurant ran out of several menu items before 6pm. Burgers still partially frozen when served. Two orders out of five completely wrong. Beverage glasses consistently empty. Also, they won't split your check.
Low key restaurant in hotel. Awesome customer service. Fresh food. Was not a fan of the sangria. I would give 9 out of 10.
I needed to make a reservation to accommodate 11 people and there weren't many places to choice from. It was my first time dinning at Potomac Social Tavern and I was very pleased with the experienced. Half of our party was late but the restaurant was very accommodating and patient. Our server was great, I can't remember his name but it started with M and he were glasses. He always checked to see if we needed anything and our drinks stayed topped off. This restaurant was great for a big group, drinks were good and food was pretty good as well. I would definitely recommend it if you have a big group.

This restaurant met my expectations on my initial visit. During her vacation, my companion stayed in the Crowne Plaza Crystal City. We chose this restaurant without hesitation in search of dining options. The restaurant provides quick service, good meals, and friendly staff. The manager personally resolved a problem I had with the dessert menu. Due of its location, this is my personal bar. The staff delivers prompt response, and the food and beverages are great. Experiences vary based on staffing levels and the day, but I recommend the restaurant.

Outstanding service and delicious food. Definitely recommend the Crab Dip and Salmon! Awesome cocktail selection. Can’t wait to try some more of their signature cocktails.
Our server was slow after he got our dinner out. I had to get up to get more water, desert menu’s and the check. Amazing food, comfy settings and great drinks
Great French onion soup, seriously. Great bar selection, servers are wonderful (not too overbearing, but always keep you full). It’s the least depressing “hotel” bar I’ve ever seen (a high compliment from a frequent traveller) - they’re actually good in their own right, not just the convenience!
