Had a wonderful experience using Poppyseed Rye as the venue for my sister’s bridal shower as well as using their florist and bouquet bar team to have a DIY flower Bouquet bar at the event! The staff were extremely helpful and responsive, which I especially appreciated since I was planning the shower via email. Alex, Jonathan, and Akeda were all very supportive in answering my questions at each step of planning. The ambiance in the cafe was so fun and beautiful. The food was INCREDIBLE and the guests loved it, Alex was even kind enough to alert me I had ordered too much food initially and helped me cut down on excess and save money. I am so appreciative of that service. The bouquet bar was a hit and my sister loved it, along with the guests! We loved being able to pick our own flowers and have them tied up afterward, it was so cute! Thank you to the great staff for helping me host a wonderful bridal shower.

The staff were really nice & it is clean/comfortable for sitting. Unfortunately, the sandwich I got wasn’t good at all though. It was just A LOT of really soft cheese & pesto. I honestly felt a bit sick after eating it. They may have other really good items though.

AMAZING!! I got the baby arugula salad which was so fresh and the strawberry basil lemonade ? boyfriend got the pastrami sandwich and we both agreed it was one of the best pastrami sandwiches we had had in the area. So excited to come back and try at least 5 more things the menu that sound so good. The flowers for sale are also *incredibly gorgeous*Highly highly recommended

Lovely staff! Food was awesome (I got the lump crab avocado toast and gobbled it up too fast to snap a picture)…and the florist was just so kind and helpful and helped me pick out these dried flowers. It’s not cheap, but you get what you pay for.?

Poppyseed Rye is such a cute place if you’re looking for quality sandwiches. It’s also a flower shop as well with reasonable priced bouquets! We ordered the albacore and burrata sandwiches along with the Brussel sprout salad. Would definitely recommend this place for a picnic like we did !!

I truly love Ballston’s new cafe Poppyseed Rye! A welcome addition to the area. The ingredients are always fresh, and the staff are friendly. I also enjoy the convenience of the florist attached to the cafe. My favorite meal so far is the Bacon (BLT sandwich) and the Strawberry Basil Lemonade. A wonderful choice for lunch or to wrap up the evening.

It’s a beautiful shop with friendly workers. There’s a florist in store as well. There’s a nice atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor seating. The food and flowers smelled great when I walked in. Fantastic hot pastrami sandwich! I’m excited to come back and try their other sandwiches.

I have had lunch there a couple of times. Only had one item - smoked salmon toast. Fabulous.

This is my second time ordering take out from Poppyseed, while the store is absolutely beautiful, and the customer service impeccable. Its nearly impossible to justify the price. My roast beef sandwich, which I ordered online and customized with mayo and oil and vinegar was a phenomenal sandwich. With so much flavor, every bite was fulfilling. But, for $15, it's hard to warrant that for what is just a sandwich. No fires, chips, drink or anything combined. And the portion is small. I hope they lower the prices to around $10 or $11, otherwise it's far too expensive.

I totally forgot to put a review down, but better later than never. I was getting some flower arrangement for my fiance and Ana was helping me with that. An amazing customer service, professionalism and pure gold hands. Thank you so much for making her day! She loved them so very much. I also had an amazing light lunch. Stuff members really polite and nice. Everything was fresh and clean. Really cozy and enjoyable place to visit!
