I love this place, hands down. I get treated with such kindness. The pizza is sooooo good!!!I highly recommend them. They do get busy in the afternoon but the staff does a get job trying to get the flow moving. I am so glad I walked in to this place and now it is one of my favorites.
Great pizza, always looking for a good pizza spot and this is the one in Arlington. Great service and friendly staff.
Our family comes here every week; our 5yo wouldn't have it any other way! Owners Karen and Ed have done an amazing job with this friendly, family-run restaurant. The servers are local kids, always professional and great with service. The pizzas are our favorite! Our son loves the freshly grated cheese they use on his buttered noodles.
Pizzas are baked in an authentic wood-fired pizza oven. The chopped salads are delicious and are enough for two people. Comfortable seating and the noise level allow for easy conversation.
I have not patronized PieTanza for about 12 years but decided to order pizza and calamari as we watched the Super Bowl. And glad that we did. I believe they have improved their food quality significantly. And the service I received from the young man at the to-go counter. Sorry, did not get his name but he looked like a high schooler (but then everyone looks young to a geezer like me?) or college student, and had a great way about him. Took care of my rewards question very efficiently. Thanks very much for a very positive experience.
Three topping pizza very nutritious very thin crispy crust. Jazz music + staff talk you don't hear any place but a Virginia Smart restaurant (tip for tourist).
Great pizza...and we are from Chicago so that is saying a lot for pizza fans from the Midwest who can only find NY style pizza in this area. Soup was also fantastic, very fresh and tasty. Service was great. Nice atmosphere! We will visit frequently as we noticed they also have efficient carry out counter
I've been coming to Pietanza for years. They have an interesting menu with lots of variety and the food is always good. I prefer eating in to taking out but with COVID that's not always possible. But pietanza is always a good dinner option particularly the pizza which has thin crust from their fire-charred oven -- not as chewy as the neopolitan crust craze but still quite tasty.
I ordered catering for my holiday party. The food was delicious. Ed and the staff are amazingly kind and accommodating. If I could rate more than 5 stars, I would.
Tasty and diverse pizza options. Nice thin crust. There are pepper flakes and cheese and salt and pepper seasonings on the table so you can make your food even better.Good dessert. Their subs are good too
