I got a cake from here and it was terrible. No flavor whatsoever. Not one ounce of vanilla, sugar, or anything. Couldn’t take more than two bites. Definitely not worth your money ?
Got some jumbo empanadas they said were cheese. It was mostly hollow with some cheese stuck to the crust ( def not a typical empanada); the saltena was good but the pastries were very so-so.
Every time I go here I get a salteña and a random pastry. Everything I've tried was delicious.
Great food at a great price. Recommended!
I use to frequent Tutto Benes in Arlington for Saltenas but they closed several years ago. Since then I had been deprived and famished until I stumbled across this shop last year. The recipe seems identical...omg chicken or beef, it's a hit!
Not the friendliest staff. Stood me up for close to 10 minutes while I waited by the counter, I simply walked out because I was not gonna have it.
I am sorry but I have to change my review, very disappointed. I came after a while and order a Lapping, waited and when I got my plate I was sad to see that the meat was not seasoned as a lapping it was more of a carne asada with chimichurri, it was dried and to kill it there was no corn and the haba was old! Oh the salad that comes with it was served with a regular shredded cheese instead of our famous quesillo. You come to a Bolivian restaurant anxious to eat our delicious food and instead you leave mad and disappointed. I will not be coming back to eat but yeah maybe to get salteñas and or bread maybe ?
Love their tres leches! And their staff were so friendly too!
Good variety of baked goods. Would like to come back to try the other items, esp the sandwiches!
Great pastries and baked goods from Latin America/Central America, everything tastes so good
