I used to live the apartments right next door, so my husband and I went frequently. We used to enjoy the wines and food options while sitting outside. Unfortunately we stopped going because of the owner. My husband and were sitting inside working on our laptops, when the owner began screaming at an employee and degrading her. He called her stupid and made a huge scene. It was horrible and so disrespectful. Since that experience, my husband and I refused to return. I felt so bad as he humiliated this poor employee in front of everyone.
This is our new go-to place! Wonderful in every respect. The crepes and pierogis are out of this world – endless combinations of ingredients mean that every meal is unique, including the desserts. Breakfast all day? Check. Lunch & dinner, check. Try the sangria and sample an array of offerings from the “wine fountain,” the self-serve dispensary. Cozy ambience with super friendly and welcoming owners. We went in one week based on rave reviews, returned the following week; plan to make it a ritual. Love this place so much.
It’s girls day and we went to @obyleewinery located in Arlington, VA ????Though tiny, this mighty winery and restaurant packs a lot of fun & flavor. We chose to try just about everything on the menu ? & the mimosas were refreshing. As we were leaving the owner gave us some delightful goodies (cinnamon twist, cookies, etc)Photo 1: Sweet salted caramel crepe w/ vanilla ice cream and whip creamPhoto 2: Lamb gyro w/ shaved lamb, tomatoes, onions, feta & tzatzikiPhoto 3: Bacon, avocado, & tomato Crostini w/ balsamic reduction**loved this and will def be making it at home !!Photo 4: Mango, cranberry, and grapefruit mimosas ?Food: 10/10Staff: 10/10Bathroom: 10/10
I used to live in Poland. So when I saw Polish pierogi we just went to have some. I had Assortment of pierogi's while my husband had gluten free caprese crepe. Pierogi was okay type. Seems the place is good to have crepe and fresh pie though prices seems to be a bit high for the quantity. And the owner at that time doesn't seem to be friendly with the customers. He isn't at all interested in helping customers with the dishes.
Delicious! I got a decaf Vanilla Latte and it was the best decaf latte I have had in America. Everyone at the table loved their food. I highly recommend the Dill Smoked Salmon Benedict crepe. The egg was cooked perfectly, the Dill hollandaise was perfectly savory with the slightly sweet crepe and oh my god that the smoked salmon was soooo good. They also have little outdoor "chalets" (a mini greenhouse you can sit in) for a warmish outdoor dining option. We were able to take out coats off but you definitely need long sleeves.
Very nice little place for breakfast crepes, lunch crepes, brunch crepes, dinner crepes, dessert crepes, pastries, cookies, coffee, wine, a few difficult-to-find imported beers, and more food and drink options that I have not mentioned! I might have to come back just to try their wine and hot chocolate elixir! All in all, this venue is definitely worth a try. The decor is very nice as well, and the people who work here are very nice.
Weird place but in a cool way. Mix of beach, wine valley, western europe and eastern europe all under one roof. The crepes are great. I just wished they hadn’t put whipped cream all over my crepe when I did a build your own crepe on which I clearly did not want dairy. So I could only eat a few bites not touched by dairy.
Amazing selection of coffees, wines and some European beers, mostly Polish. For anyone missing Europe this is the place to go. The charcuterie boards are out of a 5 star magazine and verrrry affordable seriously they should raise the price. And wedding worthy cakes to order. Watched a group birthday party and wish I'd taken a picture of this cake in the shape of the young lady's initials with fresh strawberries and real roses. Great British Bakeoff eat your heart out!
Love this place. One of those places where you can get everything. From coffee to crepes, beer and wine, pierogis, smoothies, cocktails, baked goods, etc. Great wine pouring options as well! Had a lot of good tastes. The owners are hardworking and kind, and they remember their customers. Love coming back here to taste and become comfortable. Thank you so much.
I've come to Oby Lee about 4 times and each time i have been thoroughly impressed. In fact, that's an understatement; they have wooed me through European cuisine. If Oby Lee was a girl, I'd buy a ring and drop to one knee. Their food is the kind you eat with your eyes closed and when it's gone, you wish you had taken your time and enjoyed it more. I take all my out of town friends here. The only thing i can say is that I wish they had Polish Night every night! This is not a mere meal, it's God speaking to us through food.
