Mildly confusing set up for a new customer. It would be nice if there was a sign pointing to the area that is full service/indication there’s an extended area indoors for dining past the counter. I did like the food. It felt overpriced for the area but it is a popular spot. Service was good and fast despite being super busy while the staff was very amicable.
I had a really great experience here. Very laid back vibe. There is parking on the side of the building, free on weekends but limited. There is inside and o it side seating available. There is an option to order and go or you can have full service upstairs. Upstairs you order from your phone and wait staff brings out your food. I had the breakfast sandwich which included bacon, white cheddar, and poached eggs with a side of fruit. I also had a small mocha, which was delicious and not too sweet. The whole meal cost me 13.00 (not including tip) which was a fairly reasonable price. I will definitely be back to try out more!
Really nice coffee shop with pastries, all day breakfast sandwiches, quiche, gourmet teas and lattes, lunch and dinner options and wine and beer. Pretty much a one stop shop. Counter service, but they bus the tables. Brunch available upstairs (table service there, I think). It's in Arlington, park where you can. Walk if you can. Dogs allowed in the outdoor dining area.
The staff is great here, and you can’t beat the sunny patio and its laidback ambiance. We’ve wanted to try this place because it’s always busy with happy looking people. It’s a great place to go al fresco if nothing else.Sorry to say that its lunch menu needs a wake-up call. My salmon salad with Ginger dressing had absolutely no taste, neither the vinaigrette nor ginger, and my hubby’s cubano was less than mediocre. Maybe it’s better with breakfast menu, but we were disappointed with our lunch. BUT, we did hang a bit and enjoy some wine, watching the world go by.
April 20, Wednesday morning, it was cold outside. I walked from the Ballston area to get there at the Northside Social Coffee restaurant. I placed an order for a large hot chocolate drink and avocado toasted with hot egg on salad, yummy! The cashier and hostess see nice and friendly to help me as well, lovely! I will be back there AGAIN! After I ate and left out from there to walk to the Rosslyn area. Because it's beautiful outside and enjoy it!

A neighborhood staple. There's always lots of people on the patio, drinking wine and catching up with friends. The place is very cute and a great casual spot. I got a banana chocolate ice cream sandwich. It was delicious. Can't wait to go back this summer.

I visited the cafe due to its high reviews. I had smoked salmon breakfast sandwich which was good but I didn’t think it was as exceptional as many reviewers wrote. I’ll give try other dishes next time. Cappuccino was lukewarm. ? It could be just one of the off days. I’ll try other menu items next time.
I love this coffee shop! I have been here probably a dozen times. Every single time has been a pleasure. Their pastries are delicious, the coffee is great, and the atmosphere is super cute. I don't have one negative thing to say about Northside Social! It is a great place to meet with work colleagues or friends for coffee chats. I have even tried their lunch food and thought it was delicious.
