It’s always more lively sitting at the bar. Melvin is very friendly and I was asked how I was doing at least 10 times. The manager met me at the door and offered the bar seating right away. It was happy hour from 3-7pm. Melvin suggested the happy hour oysters and they were delicious. An Alsin Hazy IPA was a perfect pairing. I finished with the Kenet wood fired pizza. The flavors of the truffle oil, smoked bacon and arugula were amazing together.I love the atmosphere here and have been several times for the mussels, which are excellent. Either for drinks and appetizers with friends or a nice dinner, this is a go to for me when I’m in the area.
Been here a few times for brunch, dinner and happy hour. It’s a cool place with a bunch of great foods. Staff is friendly and nice!
Decent mussels (although they were a bit on the small side, we thought). Got the white wine ones, and the taste was pretty good. Sweet potato fries with dips were great, as was the bread that came with the mussels. Friendly staff, but we waited a long time for a beer refill. We thought the waiter had forgotten, but it came finally when we were almost done eating. Pretty nice ambiance, a bit upscale rather than cozy.
Great atmosphere and comfortable. The Mediterranean mussels are amazing! Melvin, the bartender, is a mix master and a great guy! We stay in the area often and always make it there for a meal! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
Food was pretty good overall, but waiter was not freindly at all, nor attentive. White wine mussels were not as tasty as a you find in Brussels. Bacon brussel sprouts were amazing! Charred octopus was tiny and not good.
You eat with your eyes so I forgot to take the pictures before I started. If you like mussels, you definitely will enjoy.
Waitress was generally rude to our whole party. She did not try to be accommodating to us and made some people at the table feel really terrible as they switched seats so one could sit with his partner. They started clearing out our glasses and plates before we had the chance to say anything.I called in the day before to be asked to sit around the bar for happy hour. They sat us at a table and told us the happy hour was not applicable at the end of the meal…
Great Belgium mussel place! Used to be a major in-trend party spot.... still great selection of iron mussel pots, the Mediterranean Merguez sausage and White Wine Garlic is the best, the bread and fries are nice ...they have wide array of Belgian beers and quality selection of wines that pair very well with the mussel pots. I have to say their 80s music kit is fantastic. On the downside the downside the service was not timely but the satf was very amiable, the menus were dirty but the surrounding areas were well kept..the lighting is bad with spotlight like brights at thr bar and dark booths for a cold feel...The overall experience and food, staf was great. Definitely going back.
Your beef steaks have a lot to be desired. Visiting from a state that grows a lot of beef your steaks are served just barely warm in the center with a slit sear on the outside. Unacceptable for a 40 dollar steak. I can't recommend your restaurant for a steak
first time here - food was great - the Mussel entries are enough for 2 people to share
