Incredible Ice Cream! If you are anywhere in the D.C. area this is the place to make a B- Line to this place. Lots of home made places... they add great flavors.... this place MAKES THE FLAVORS! The Roasted Banana Nut... he slow roasts the Bananas for 4 hours (limited to Sundays). Doesn't taste like Banana Bread...it is Banana Bread in the form of ice cream. I also got the Butterscotch Pecan (nobody serves Butterscotch.... but he does and he makes it!) The pralines have never been so loved as what you find in this or the Pralines with Honey. If you want a rich and complicated beautiful scope of ice cream this is the place!
Great, little mom-n-pop ice-cream shop in Pentagon Row. The owner, Rollin, is there serving up tastes and is just how you imagine an ice-cream shop owner to be: So kind and friendly. Unique, homemade flavors, pet friendly with Vegan options too.
This is a top notch ice cream shop. Many different flavors of homemade ice cream. I had a waffle cone with 2 scoops Bailey's Irish Cream and Chocolate chocolate. The Bailey's was smooth and creamy. The chocolate was full of flavors. Service was fast and efficient. Store was clean and had outside seating.
WOW! This is a must!!! The gentleman who runs the place is absolutely fantastic, as are his creations! He doesn't use artificial flavors, just the real deal. I got toasted banana nut, ube, and lemon poppy. All just absolutely phenomenal. He told me about the process of making the different flavors - very old fashioned and AUTHENTIC!. I love that it's made from real ube with real ube swirled in and not just flavoring. 10/10 experience.
Wow, best ice cream shop in Crystal City! I love ice cream and I always try the flavor “Ube”. This place have the best Ube ice cream I’ve ever had. I highly recommend this place and will definitely pass by every time im near by.
Tried ice cream from the store for the first time today. We got butterscotch and chocolate peanut butter flavors and both were extremely good, quality ice cream. You can tell that the ingredients used were of really good quality. They have some unique flavors to choose from. Will be going there again to try other flavors as well.Update: I have been to the store at least ten times so far because I’m OBSESSED with their Butter Pecan ice cream. It’s the BEST butter pecan ice cream I’ve ever tried!
Wonderful and unique flavors, I love the snow ginger, the fresh cherry, lime crunch, and dirty chocolate chip. They always have unique flavors but also great takes on the classics. And the customer service is incredible. My second visit the owner accidentally didn’t ring up my sibling’s order and instead of ringing it up separately she gave it to us on the house saying “Welcome to Mimi’s!” We tried to get her to ring it up but she sent us out the door with a smile. Great vibe and love supporting a small business.
Wow - I thought I could tip the scales with a less than 5* review but these guys are great. Friendly, tasty and the smells a bit intoxicating. I swear I could toss my lemon poppy ice cream in the oven and end up with a muffin - that’s how good it tasted.Thanks for the great homemade ice cream!
Best ice cream and milkshakes for miles! Strongly recommend starting with a salty caramel milkshake if it is your first visit! My second favorite is a bucket of strawberry ice cream! Everything is handmade and you can tell!In addition to milkshakes, regular ice cream by scoop or flite, they also sell buckets to take home and enjoy later! Rollins, the owner, is very nice and I love his love of ice cream! Go there and enjoy!
Hands down the best ice cream I have ever had. Every flavor is handmade using real ingredients and you can tell by the taste! The owner is also extremely nice and very passionate about ice cream!
