Brought a large large party here around lunch with no problem. The staff was very friendly and the owner is definetly irish. The food was solid. I don't remember being blown away like I defintely need to come back here. But I also don't remember anyone at the table not liking any food. We got some desserts which were also good. Basically if you looking for a bite in crystal city you shouldn't have any problems dining here.

I've never been asked if it was okay if the burger was on mashed potatoes. Befuddled, I said yes, not knowing what to expect, really. Not only it was okay, it was amazing. That deconstructed burger and mashed potatoes with Guinness sauce was an absolutely delicious dish, and the portion was large enough for leftovers! The place is nice. Less pub/sports bar, more family-friendly neighborhood restaurant, although it still feels very much like a pub. Staff is friendly and attentive (at least at the bar), and overall it's just a nice and chill place to be. Highly recommend!

Definitely a hidden gem of a place, with a great atmosphere for sitting and chilling with friends. Servers are kind and attentive-you can tell they love working there. The food is good too, especially the fish & chips, onion rings and sausage rolls. My friend said the house beer was good too, and the Irish coffee was wonderful! There are definitely options for natural gluten-free foods, like burgers without buns and salads and nachos, but nothing is noted as GF on the menu. I’m sure the servers would be happy to answer questions though if you ask though. Definitely plan to be back!

Really enjoyed our visit here. Very friendly staff and most accommodating to a wheelchair. Smithwicks on tap had me at hello. Plenty of tv screens showing all kinds of sports. Started with the seafood chowder which was excellent. The Irish stew entree was also in the excellent category. Meat was so tender. I had the fish and chips which were a decent portion size of cod, but I would like the fish more crispy. Last was the chicken curry. It was very good but curry was overpowering. Needed to be cut back a bit. All in all we enjoyed our visit and would go back for another try. #stevensleavin

I enjoyed this place. Not overly fancy, has a friendly atmosphere. They had bingo night on Tuesday. I ordered a cheeseburger which was good. It wasn't some award winning burger but it was good. My company ordered fish and chips, they said it was good.

Having lived in the UK there are some things you miss like good puddings and bangers. We tried McNamara's on chance since there was a long wait at our first choice and glad we did! The staff is super friendly and there is a calm pleasant. Our server Ian was polite, kind and patient with a cheerful smile. We all had the Irish Breakfast and it was so good! They even brought out Chef and HP sauces! We will definitely be back for fish n' chips! Another table had some and it smelled delicious!

A classic Irish pub, bingo night was a blast! I'd recommend the bangers and mash with a good ol' Guinness, can't go wrong here!

Needed a restaurant near our hotel to accommodate 30+ people. Found this place ahead of time and communicated via email. They were so great at responding. We were seated in our own separate space and the food and service were great. ALL enjoyed their food. Highly suggest this place to anyone staying in this area.Kevin, one of the owners, was great….even remembered what a few of us drank when we popped in for a late night drink a few nights later

Excellent food, drinks, and service. Enjoyed a much needed comfort lunch and drink and McNamara’s delivered.

Great service. Get the fried pickles and you won’t be disappointed.
