The food was tasty but the portions were small and extremely overpriced. Dinner with my two kids where we ordered two burgers and fish and chips. Total cost: $83.Service was slow and kids are charged $3 for a can of soda. It is oblivious that they're not using the soda gun in order to over charge and increase profits.Overall, this is nowhere near the family friendly and priced Sine of old. It was rather empty for 6p on a Monday and so I doubt it will be in business for much longer. My advice, skip it and wait for it to fold and see if the new owners learned that this isn't NYC and overpriced food just won't win people over.
I will rarely if ever share about food or restaurants in a review. This place really was bad. Table ordered an IPA— and it was it flat around the table. I ordered fish n chips, simple Irish food -7 bizarre sauces. GF and friend ordered a cheeseburger both were cooked incorrectly according to their request. Waiter barely talked to us, just bad every which way.
I'm not a fan of American Irish pubs. The food simply isn't good. That's changed now. This place was excellent. At least what I had was excellent, the lobster pot pie. Amazing! Great broth, good balance of vegetables and tons of lobster! My friend had the beef stew and raved about it. She had been several times and said every meal was a hit. I was disappointed in the brown bread, but I have yet to find a good authentic tasting brown bread here like they have in Ireland. Still this is a great restaurant to try.
Had the fantastic Leek and Potato soup, which we'd been missing since Restaurant Eve closed. It was better than we remembered. Followed up with the excellent Fish and Chips. Sat here in the afterglow congratulating ourselves on our good taste. We definitely will be back here!
Great pub. Huge beer and liquor selection, wines even, and run very well. Food is pretty awesome too. Staff is friendly, prices about what you'd expect from a good pub. Seating and environment is great whether inside or outside!
Amazing food. Everything cooked to perfection! Thank you, Chef for the special pickles!
Had dinner this week with my family and everyone LOVED their food, beer and friendly service staff. Chicken Pate, Corned Beef, Deviled Eggs, Sausage Roll, Crispy Pork Belly, Fish and Chips best ever! We'll definitely be going back soon!
The drinks were okay, not great but I’m really knocking their rating down because of the customer service. We had two different bartenders pass us no less than seven times and one of them constantly looked at us but didn’t acknowledge us while we were trying to get his attention. Even after several attempts he went over to another customer that he seem to have a rapport with and just started a conversation. We were finally able to order drinks via the hostess at the front door.We had our drinks and promptly left. Will not be returning to this establishment.

Food was decent but overpriced. Service was lacking. We tried 4 different appetizers and all were small portions. Chicken pate, mussels, deviled eggs (you get 3), sardines (like a small ramekin of sardine dip with toast). Tried the potatoe and leek soup (nothing in it, more like a broth). Entrees included the burger, lobster pot pie, shepherds pie, vegetarian stew, and crispy pork belly with mashed potatoes. Honestly, the burger was probably the best of the entrees.. Irish coffee was good. Family dinner, Bill was around $250.
