The food wasn’t good, the chicharrón gorditas was burned very slimy and flavorless, also flies around the table.. I have been on different restaurant’s that claim to be Mexican…Los Chamacos restaurant won’t get my business or recommendation. To clarify the reply from los chamacos posted on 06/20/22, I DID NOT Eat any of the chicharrón gorditas i did try one quarter of one but not more when I asked the waitress to take them back, so please don’t confirm anything that you aren’t sure that’s not good coming from whoever replied or possible (owner)…yes I got the refund ONLY for the chicharrón gorditas after I questioned the charge on the receipt otherwise if me as a customer don’t put any attention to what I’m paying for, you as a business would charge full amount for a returned product..The people with me that specific day complain about the flavor or taste on everything else that was ordered that day, and we happily pay for everything else…I have witnesses to very or confirm my post on Google reviews if you are looking to get into that, thank you.
Checked this place out based on other reviews and we were not disappointed! The Birria Ramen and Pizza....if you like those things ramen, pizza and Birria just get it you won't be disappointed! The pizza is about $23 but it's the size of at least a medium pizza from any pizza place. It's 3 huge tortillas layered with cheese and barria and served with a slightly spicy consume for dipping. It's like if you combined a French dip sandwich and a giant quesadilla! Yum!Legit could have gotten just the pizza and shared between my son, my wife and me!The chicken fajitas for one were bigger than for two from some spots we've been.Kids quesadilla was fresh and came with tasty fries.Ramen was a HUGE portion. If you like menudo and ramen you will like this. It's a crazy combo of the two without the tripe. We will come again!Oh and the chips and salsa...ON POINT as well! Try the hot option...if you like it hot!
Wow. What a find. This is a must go to Mexican restaurant. And this is coming from someone who live in California for 20 years. The mole was excellent. The sauce that accompanied the shrimp was 10 out of 10. I live in Springfield and will gladly drive past hundreds of so called Mexican restaurants to eat here. Go before they realize they charge way too little for the quality and quantity of food they serve.
I come here with a group of friends once a month and everyone has always been pleased with their meals. I have tried several different items from menu and have always been very happy with my choice. Highly recommend!
Food was super good. So good that I drive across Arlington to get it. Sadly, I ordered my chiliquiles with two eggs and only got one. Didn't discover it until I got home.Edit: Got an extra egg on my next visit. Food was excellent as always. Upping to five stars.
Delicious comfort Mexican food! The shrimp fajitas were so delicious with the shrimp charred to perfection and sautéed vegetables with hint of caramelization. Looking forward to ordering from here again!
Service was great and the birria pizza was amazing. Definitely will be a go-to spot.
Delicious margaritas and food that are very reasonably priced for the quality, definitely make sure to check out happy hour as well that goes till 8! The staff are all extremely friendly and inviting, one of my new favorite spots in the Columbia Pike area.
Los Chamacos is overwhelmingly good. The pork tamale is one of the best I've ever had and the birria plate and consommé are out of this world. I cannot recommend Los Chamacos enough. Their food is so far beyond Americanized tex-mex.
Molcajete “Los Chamacos” and the appetizer sampler are the perfect meal here!!!
