Great food and super service. Sit outside if you can before it gets too hot.

Outdoor dining at Lebanese Taverna is quite lovely....umbrellas and trees provide shade. Even though there was a large party inside and many people outside, service was prompt and courteous. We shared the Shawarma Sliders...of which there were 3 of quite a nice size, the Taverna Salad and the M'saka. The food was delicious and the servings were generously sized so it was more than ample for a lunch for two. It's always hard to decide what to order, as everything on the menu is delicious!
I do not particularly like Lebanese food. There are some pretty tasty options in the mezze category, though. I particularly recommend the hummus, baba ganoush, a tasty cauliflower dish, tabbouleh, and lebneh. The bread is nice, particularly when it is hot. I prefer to stay away from all meat dishes in Lebanese cuisine. Tough, maybe tasteless in some casesâ¦but I think Lebanese Taverna does an authentic take on all of these things. It is simply that I do not like them. â¦But I had $150 worth of gift certificates, and a guest who asked to go there. So we went. The inexpensive wines were surprisingly good! The service was fine.
The food was okay. Not as I expected it to be via the reviews I read from people who have dined there. Even though we mad a reservation, it took 20 plus minutes for us to be seated and we weren't given any explanation as to why it was taking that long until towards the end of the wait. The over all area of the restaurant location is beautiful! The food runner didn't know what plates she was presenting. We had to get another servers attention to confirm the dish.
Wonderful service, amazing food, we kept ordering more than we thought we could eat, just to try it. And we ate it all after all.
This is a consistently good/above average/nearly-excellent venue. The food is of good quality, if slightly high in price (but given COVID, this is understandable). The staff is friendly and attentive, although they are sometimes momentarily distracted.
They had a very extensive menu. The vegetable dishes were especially tasty.
Fantastic restaurant. Everything was absolutely delicious. I would come back in a heartbeat!
