Amazing food and staff. We have ordered Belgium wafflen with hazelnuts chocolate on side, mini pancakes with bananas, cheese danish, Latte, and black coffee. Foods are delicious with no complaints. I wish they could open late night or at least not to close the store at 6 which is too early.
This particular Clarendon location is wonderful, whether delivery or dining in. Delicious butternut squash soup (perfect consistency between creamy and spoon-able, with nice chunks of squash), lovely brussels tea and cream (I'm not even a big tea drinker and I love their in house Brussels blend - the craving reminds me to order from Le Pain regularly), and mini dutch pancakes with berries ans cream. Lovely, fresh, well arranged and well packed, and friendly staff that always preps my tea just the way I like it.I usually avoid chains, but this is a wonderful exception.
The food was prompt, and our coffee delivered quickly. Great pastries! Not crowded, so it’s a good brunch option if you haven’t made a reservation.I got the chocolate croissant, ham and gruyère breakfast sandwich, and a latte. All sandwiches come with a small house salad that has a great dressing.
The avocado toast was good. Excellent location and service. The pastries were okay.
Great food, service, and location. Our server was super friendly and the food is delicious. For covid, they use dividers for the communal tables, and they serve what used to be communal spreads in now individualized plastic containers. Great idea, and can't wait to go back.
Bread was at least a day old. Cappuccino good but large enough to take a bath in. Server would rather sweep the floor than pay attention to customers. Carrot cake dry and the size of my thumb. Not French

Excellent presentation and selection of foods. Prices are appropriate for the neighborhood. Come for quality french cuisine and elegant atmosphere - but if you are just looking for that perfect espresso drink, keep looking.
Le Pain is fantastic. I come here all the time -- sometimes just coffee, other times full breakfast. Food is fresh, delicious and quick. And it's a pleasant atmosphere. Quiet background music & lights a little dimmed. And the servers are unfailingly polite and attentive. Love this place.
FOOD IS AMAZING. I want to give this place a 5 becuase of how good the food is, but the serivce was truly terrible all around. We waited at our table for 15 minutes before someone brought us water. We then waited a similar amount of time for a server. I ended up having to go inside and order becuase the server never came to our table to take our order. I was told at the counter to return top my seat and wait for the server but did not want to because my family and I had waited over half an hour and just had water at our table.
