I came in this restaurant for the very first time today. It was a late lunch for me, and I've been having a Gyro on my mind for some time, so I figured that I would give this place a try. I studied the menu for several minutes trying to find a sandwich with a description that looked similar to a Gyro and I wasn't having much luck. After a few minutes, an employee walked-up to my table to see if I needed any help. He explained to me that their version of the gyro was actually called the Kabob sandwich. There wasn't much of a description of what to e kabob sandwich consisted of, but in any event I trusted this person's description. I waited for about five minutes, and then after that any order was prepared in put into a ba for me to take out. While sitting in my car, I took a few bites, and it tasted alright. It definitely has lamb, but no lettuce, tomatoes, or fetta cheese, which is what zi kind of expected from a Gyro. It will get eaten, but I guess I should have been more careful about what I ordered.
When we think about celebrations, Kabobistan is always our first option and it never disappoints. From the starter to the dessert the quality and tastes of everything was outstanding!!! Joe took our order and he was so nice and had outstanding customer service, it is a clean environment and I will always order from here. I highly recommend!!
Favorite kabob place in the area, my wife and I go about every 2 weeks. You probably can’t go wrong with anything on the menu but the chicken is great. It executes exactly what it’s trying to do very well, and therefore I can’t go less than 5 out of 5 forks.
Wonderful Breakfast, authentic, delicious afghan food. We had the Shakshuka, Balkhi (highly recommend) and Uzbek Samosa, all were delicious with a friendly staff!
Terrible experience of all Afghan restaurants in DMV. Forget to place your orders, disrespect you when you ask why my order was not placed, keep you waiting for 30 minutes only to cancel your order and ask you to leave. The owner and staff lack basic customer service trainings. Food and personal hygiene is another big concern but sadly when you give feedback, you have face an insulting and rude behavior from owner/manager. There are tens of other better Afghan restaurants where they do their best to welcome you with a smile and respectful attitude contrary to Kabobistan in Annandale which I experienced very recently. I highly recommend against visiting this place.
Amazing a must if you ask me the food didn’t take to long and they have great service ?
This has been my favorite to go place for brunch in DMV area. The staff are nice and welcoming. If you are looking for a taste of eastern brunches, this is the place for you.
The ottoman breakfast platter is delicious and I'm saying this as a Turkish person. The looks of the place doesn't justify the delicacy you can find inside. Kind employees as well. 5/5.
Amazing breakfast! Great customer service! Came with a family of 16 and they provided amazing service! The breakfast was quick and delicious! We ordered the variety breakfast platters and extra bread, and whatever else we wanted on the side.Highly recommend!
Such an amazing brunch place! Everything fresh and organic. Great location and services… I always come back for something different…
