**A pearl in the ocean...***When I went to this area, was very unexpected since we came in the morning. The place was very clean and professional. When we ordered and asked questions about the menu, the server answered our questions very professionally. The chef was very good at making my sushi and the ramen was just right, not too salty. Overall, if you want something perfectly balanced to eat with great service, come to ichiban sushi and ramen.
Ichiban is my favorite sushi restaurant hands down!! Their salmon avocado and hairy mexican rolls are to die for!! My wife loves the firecracker roll. Their ramen is also world class. I miss living in Shirlington to eat here more often, but I always make sure to stop by when I'm around the way!
This place is great and was one of my go to spots during lockdown. Now I order almost regularly. I’m pretty simple so my Pick 3 Rolls of Shrimp, Salmon, and Spicy Tuna is always great. I also recommend Hairy Mexican Roll. The staff is very friendly and caring when I’ve picked up food. The food and service is great. Highly recommend.
The beef ramen was amazing! The place was really nice, good atmosphere and nice staff. My wife and I came here for a date night and loved it. She got the pork buns and I could not believe how good it was. Definitely recommend this place for anyone who likes sushi or Japanese food. ??
Our favorite Sushi spot in the DMV. Warm staff, delicious rolls and great ambiance. The quality of fish is superb and that really comes through in their sushi. Try their ramen as well, promises not to disappoint.

We ordered the Maki combination but we only got one sort of 18 pieces of sushi with lots and lots of oil…This has been a very repeated issue.Not sure how there is so much oil in salmon and tuna sushi.
Flavor for the spicy miso was mediocre. Felt like there wasn’t enough soup for the amount of noodles and meat.
Had a great time at this place on a quiet Tuesday night. The staff were efficient and friendly. The food was delicious! Seaweed salad, miso soup, ramen and sushi were all amazing. Good quality for the price.
Sushi is the best I've found in the area, ramen was good but not spectacular though. Interesting decor and a good vibe, would definitely recommend!
