This place makes excellent tangines and mint tea. I highly recommend going here if you are in the mood for Moroccan food.
Found this gem after a trip to the national zoo and a bunch of recommendations on Reddit. Went in with high expectations and was not disappointed. The food was fantastic and fresh and made to order! So delicious and such generous proportions. We got the chicken shawarma platter, a tagine with lamb and beef meatballs and a small chicken bastilla. All that plus a small pot of tea set us back about $60 and we had leftovers for dinner, definitely affordable. Coming back to the food, the chicken bastilla was delicious with spiced chicken mixed in with nuts and raisins served in a pastry casing dusted with sugar and cinnamon, it’s a unique dish that I’m sure you will love. The tagine was delicious and served with the softest pillow like Moroccan bread, my favorite part of the meal. Overall, we will be back and I’d just like to mention the service and hospitality, our server was very courteous and the owner made it a point to go around the restaurant making everyone’s experience even more pleasant. They are halal and since it’s Ramadan I noticed a lot of customers coming by to buy food to break their fast for the day, highly frequented by locals and people who know what good Moroccan food tastes like, another stamp of approval imo.

I have to give this place 5 stars. We got everything you would expect out of a small dive spot owned by a family. Don't let the looks of this place fool you its jam packed with flavor and amazing service. I got the beef but my coworker got the chicken and the chicken was so juicy and tender. The beef was great but the chicken was better. Also you gotta get the baklava it was amazing. Loved the mint tea we got also!!!!
Best Mediterranean food in town! An absolute must. Authentic and delicious. You leave here feeling happier, fuller, and better :) you can tell the food was made fresh and with love. 10/10 recommend!

I had such a fantastic experience here. I tried things I had never even heard of before and they knocked it out of the park - that's impressive when you're not just ordering your favorites. The best part was the genuine kindness and hospitality of the owner/manager - that was a real delicacy from a bygone era.
This is the best Moroccan restaurant I have been to in Virginia! It is authentic, delicious, and reasonably priced. The owner is very genuine, hospitable, and excellent chef. I will certainly become a repeated customer for many years to come. The Moroccan mint tea is out of this world. Thank you, thank you, thank you for an amazing dinner.
Four of us returned from a wonderful tour of Morocco in November. We met at Fetoosh for lunch on Friday. All of us agreed that the food was better at Fetoosh than it was in Morocco! Friday is the busiest day at Fetoosh. If you are flexible, it would be more relaxing to go on another day.
