Please try this sandwich shop.. They are absolutely fabulous ?.. The food was delicious and the service was impeccable! We were pointed to this shop by a local while visiting my niece in DC. Great atmosphere and the staff are super friendly. Will be back!!
Excellent attention to quality. Great meat to filling ratio, bread is toasted but not too toasted, sandwich was still warm when I got home with it (takeout)!!! Very reasonably priced for such care in the sandwiches. We got a turkey club and there was dark and light meat and the lettuce was soft, not too much of it, and just enough mayo to make the sandwich texture tasty but not drenched. The steak and egg sandwich was also excellent - steak was not dry and tough and the egg was fresh. Highly recommend, and I’ll definitely be returning.
I love this place! I often come here with a friend to get a sandwich and fries. I appreciate how they have the option to get a half or a whole sandwich. I'm vegetarian, and I found that out of their menu options without meat, the "lightly breaded eggplant" is my favorite. I get it every time! Also, their fries are very good. I personally prefer the regular over the sweet potato, but both are excellent. They also have lots of indoor seating (despite the smaller size of the place) as well as plenty of outdoor seating.
I literally get Earl's for lunch 2 to 4 times per week, so I had to drop them a review. I must admit, I am a little embarrassed by the frequency with which I patronize this place, but I don't plan on stopping. It's delicious and reasonably priced, so pretty hard not to come here when I don't feel like making lunch (which is always).
Good neighborhood sandwich place. It makes the food as you order. It has some creative specials. Not much space to sit inside, so more of a carry out spot. Great to have nearby work.
Cool spot. I didn’t know they were a long-term part of this community. 16 years! Great sandwich from a hip little spot.
Awesome lunch spot in the Courthouse-Clarendon area. I've lived here for years and just got around to trying the sandwiches at Earl's- I'm upset I haven't come sooner! Delicious food (I had the Turkey Brie with the Gumbo- both were awesome) and really cozy and clean atmosphere. Also the staff was nice and attentive- the owner/manager came to chat and make sure we were enjoying our food, which was very kind. Will definitely be back again.
I've heard a lot about this place, but I've only been there once. I'll raise the star when I get the opportunity to flavor more of their menu. So far, I'm actually very impressed. I would definitely recommend this place for a great local sandwich deli restaurant in Arlington.
The Clarendon! So tasty and the ciabatta bread is just perfect. What a cute little local sandwich shop. I wanna try every item on their menu at some point?
They need more cheese choices and options for cold cut sandwiches. I got their bbq chicken and the chicken was so dry and disappointing.
