I purchased three times from here and was unsatisfied with the food twice, the shrimp platter was really good, the next time I ordered plantains that were over cooked- very dark or old, the last time I ordered from here I ordered a chicken and cheese sandwich and the chicken was old, my palate is very sensitive to meats and I can tell this wasn't fresh chicken from that days fresh char grilled flavor.
I always have my order from this local restaurant close to my home and they do pretty good job but unfortunately last night i order fried fish with rice and salad and the other order was steak and i thought it will good but they disappointed me so badly and I had to go back to them at night to do or change my order and the lady was unkindly and never paid attention so i throw away my food which i spent $40 which nothing but still this is the worst place i ever been and i will never get back to them.Today i went back to talk to the manger about my order but was waste of time
Best place to eat some really exquisite South American food
No cheese inside the “cheese empanadas”
5 stars for bringing out a bottle of the mojo mayo sauce. Are you kidding me? Who does that lol
It was ok...I'll try it again.
Buen ambiente, comida agradable
Phenomenal food. Must try. Reminds me of home
I had ordered half chicken with rice for dinner. Attached to a 7eleven and conveniently nestled near a gas station on the same location as well it was an ideal place to grab a bite from since I was craving some rotisserie style chicken! No pic of the meal too hungry to take and had to catch a flight back but believe me it was delicious. The dessert of tres Leche cake was decent, not too much to the liking as I've had many, and the rice pudding was a bit bland which it could of had more flavor to it...though the meal itself made up for that hence the 4 stars. The setting felt more like a sit down sports bar (not sure if there were any actual alcohol) but it had plenty of space and a few nice flat screens around with a large projector to watch sports. Recommended to my brother and his family to check it out once they have a chance since I was in VA visiting them.
Good food. The chicken is tender and not dry. You do have to go on busy days to get the best chicken. The yucca is good. Second best in the area. The steak sandwich is juicy with plenty of cheese. It is not cooked with American style seasoning but it still has a good flavor of its own. The onion rings though dark are not over cooked. The mild yellow dipping sauce needs more flavor. It is too diluted. The hot is fine and has some kick. Good food overall. Instead of 4 stars it should really be about 3 1/2. I frequently visit this place because of the yucca and good pupusas. The prices are great for low budget dining. I do like the flavor of the rotisserie chicken. One of the best in the area.
