Drinks drinks & drinks!!I love the vibe Buena Vida presents, especially the rooftop ambiance. The only downside is the menu difference between each floor. The drinks were 10/10. I think they get you with the $10 margaritas. I had the rainbow trout and it was decent but could use a little more flavor.I’d come back and to try their unlimited brunch!

Our party of 4 opted for the $45 dinner of unlimited small plates and we really enjoyed our evening. We tried nearly everything on the menu and loved nearly everything. Given that the kitchen is putting out lots and lots and lots of small plates, we were astonished at the attention to detail in each plate. Yes, one eats with one's eyes also. ;-) More surprising, given the volume of plates being delivered, the service was always friendly and patient. The chef came by several times all smiles, which made us feel great because we could tell him directly how much we were enjoying his food. Thank you Alyssa, our server, as well. Highly recommend.

This was TTT and is now under new management but the dishes for brunch are still the same- much better taste, presentation and portions! The manager was very involved and helped out our party from beginning to end! Excellent service, our waiter was also the bar tender so hats off to him for handling everything with grace and a smile on his face :) will definitely be back! Lots of fun and the pricing was very fair ?

This place did not disappoint! The food is top notch, and the Margarita Al Pastor has become my favorite drink in all of the DMV area. The vibe throughout the restaurant is inviting and intriguing— and the service is amazing. One of the managers, Corrine, went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. She was so accommodating, and especially responsive and helpful with all questions and made sure everything was to our liking. Buena Vida has now become one of our go-to spots.

The dining experience was a roller coaster and not the fun kind. In short, the concept is awesome but the execution is underwhelming. For the most part the food was good except they kept bringing us food we didn’t want and it was really confusing. The service was fine but the waitress was really confused about the concept which wasn’t ideal. Here’s the whole story. This is a rebrand of TTT with the same management but a new menu/concept and I don’t think they have fully figured out the small plate concept. We were seated and they immediately brought us salsa/guacamole, queso fundido, and tuna ceviche. These were all delicious and turned out to be the best part of the meal. Following this we wanted to order a few items but were told that the chef has already selected and sent us a few selections - corn ribs and chicken skewers. These were fine. While we were eating these the staff brought us 3 more dishes which we didn’t order and didn’t want- lamb, shrimp, and mushroom quesadillas. These were not good and we would never have ordered them.At this point I asked if I should order the items I wanted or if the chef was selecting them for me. The waitress gave a non-answer saying it was a combination of both. This is confusing. The staff brought another plate (which I can’t remember exactly but I know it wasn’t something we wanted). Then nothing was brought to us and the waitress didn’t come to our table for the next 18 minutes. When she finally came back I asked if the chef was sending more food or if I should order. She said “you should probably order”. Okay, so we ordered a few more items but at this point it was so confusing how the food was being ordered and we were sort of disenfranchised by the whole process. We ate these last 3 items and then requested and paid for the check. As we were signing the check and they were clearing our table, one of the servers brought us another order of tuna ceviche which we obviously didn’t order and didn’t eat because we were leaving. It just seems like nobody knows what’s going on with this new rebrand and concept. If the chef is making the selections then they need to work on the order, flow and pairing of the plates. We were never brought any of the salad/soup options and the choices that were brought to us didn’t follow a pattern. There are 42 items on the menu so there is no way they are going to bring all items. They need to decide if the chef is selecting the plates or if the customer is selecting the plates. It’s an extremely wasteful method of selecting the food for the customers even if they don’t want it. There were items we wanted but never got to try because they brought us other items instead. To end on a high note, the margaritas are delicious.

Hosted an event on the Jun 9th, 2022 and had a terrible experience. Prior to the event, we negotiated with the restaurant designated event coordinator for $60/person for unlimited dishes/small plates. The normal dinner cost for unlimited dishes is $44/person. However, since this is a private event for the entire space, the new price was agreed to $60/person. We visited the restaurant and discussed various options before agreeing to the space and the price. Per their request, we even provided pre-selected dishes so that the Chef can get stuff ready for the expected 35 people. Literally 5 hours before the event, the event coordinator calls and insists that we pay more than 4 times agreed price or find another place. She said that she never agreed for the space and we can have a group dinner on the rooftop if we want to. After a frenetic negotiations and back and forth, we ended up having a group dinner (no private space) and paid $60/person as opposed to $44/person available for anyone. None of the agreed dishes was pre-prepared and ready. As a result, we ended up spending more time on waiting for the food than enjoying. The onsite manager tried to ensure good service, but serving 35 people at the same time is no easy task. This entire episode left a sour taste. I wouldn't recommend hosting any events at this place. The food was good and the service in the end was okay.

We only knew of and came to visit this restaurant for brunch because we met the chef at a event a few weeks ago. We’re certainly glad we did. Food is excellent, location is very hip and we even were there on a day where there was a cycling event so we had the best seats in the house. The only thing that seems to be lacking is a little bit of training and consistency on the serving side. Our server started out friendly & attentive but it must have been a long day for her as it waned as we were heading into trying dessert. It gets busy so you need to be patient and a word of advice is to try it a little bit of everything! We will be back and try dinner next time to mix up the menu a bit.Reservations are definitely recommended!

Both the food and the service was excellent. I feel like the all you can eat small plate system could use a different approach. If there is a party of 6 that everyone says would like to try the ribs, maybe send out a plate with six ribs on it? The single plate with on single rib bone on it was a slight surprise.

This place is great! I came here for the brunch experience. Unlimited tapas for $40 with 99 cent margaritas and mimosas. The food was really on point and the service was fast. Our server Alyssa was so sweet and gave amazing suggestions. The atmosphere is beautiful, the menu selection is great, and the food does not disappoint. Such a good value. Highly recommend.

Thoroughly enjoyed dinner! Restaurant was also nicely designed with modern decor and had a great vibe.Service was quick and on point. The food was really good, with some dishes standing out far ahead of the others. Our table agreed that the seafood was a notch ahead in terms of taste, quality, and freshness compared to other proteins.Only suggestions would be to include some dessert options in the unlimited menu and offer pitchers of drinks (E.g., sangria, mojitos, margaritas, etc.)Will definitely be back to try brunch.
