Solid local bagel place, and definitely worth the visit if it's close to drive or in walking distance. It's not the best bagel I've had, but they have great flavors of cream cheese, and the bagels are fresh. I ordered French Toast bagel with Maple Walnut-Raisin cream cheese and Garlic bagel with Scallion cream cheese. My favorite was the Maple Walnut-Raisin cream cheese, since it wasn't overly sweet and had smaller chunks of raisin in it. I also ordered a couple Black and White Cookies to go. They were pretty good, but I would have liked the icing on them to have a harder shell.

Bagels and cream cheese were good but I also ordered a coconut milk latte and croissants, which were a complete fail. pic of croissant attached - what is that yellow stuff??? disgrace to croissants, just remove it off the menu seriously. i was also overcharged for my coconut milk latte - it was watered down coffee with regular milk. it did not taste like espresso + steamed coconut milk. once again, if it's not going to be quality, just remove it from your menu and stick to what you do best. ordered online via their website and unfortunately no way to request a refund on there.

Fresh, fast and delicious. What more could you ask for?!

Goated bagels, efficient service, and nice variety. These are better than most of the bagels I've had in New York. The only small gripe is that payment is inefficient. Get another credit card terminal and stop asking people to sign and tip and email a receipt, it slows the line down

Cashier was very disrespectful to the point that it seems like whatever personal problem he’s going through its more about that than about good customer service. The bagels are good, so if you want to try them just don’t let disgruntled cashier’s negative energy weigh on you.

Authentic bagels made the NY way! (Got a black and white cookie for dessert later too)

‘VERY popular place for bagel and breakfast sandwiches!

Had a craving for an egg and cheese bagel sandwich. Line went fast, no issues with service. But the sandwich itself was extremely disappointing. Bagel was hard. I think they used 1 single egg for the whole sandwich and my cheese wasn’t even melted completely. McDonald’s has better bagel sandwiches. I dont recommend this place

I was craving a bagel and lox. Badly. So this place seemed like a good bet. I had read the previous reviews about issues with incorrect orders, and the suggestions that one order as clearly as possible to potentially avoid similar problems, so when I stepped up to the counter I thought I was ready. I spoke directly and quite clearly, IMO, as I requested a plain bagel with cream cheese, lox and capers. The man behind the counter nodded and said "cream cheese and capers. No lox?" Hmm. I shook my head and responded, "Lox, yes. I definitely want lox. I would like Lox, cream cheese, and capers please." He nodded and asked, "tomatoes?" I said "no tomatoes. Just lox, cream cheese and capers.” He nodded again. "Got it."He got right to work on my order. I couldn’t see what he was actually doing, as the counter between us was unusually tall and completely opaque, but he seemed focused and confident in his ability to successfully execute the bagel topping task at hand. And there was no one else in line to distract or divert his attention. I thought all was good.We sailed smoothly through checkout, and I strolled out the door with my freshly made bagel wrapped up and packaged in a refreshingly simple, unbranded paper bag. I believed success was certain.Once seated at a sidewalk table outside, I opened the bag and saw that I had indeed received lox, cream cheese and capers… AND tomatoes. AND red onions.?!?!?Seriously? How did we go wrong? I honestly don't know how I could have been clearer. Perhaps I could have added, "No tomatoes, for real. AND no red onions either, in case you're thinking I want those and just forgot to mention them." But given the explicitly unauthorized tomato inclusion, I don't think that would have helped. I requested it one way. He just made it his way. Very strange. But at least I got everything I DID want… Plus a bit extra.Once I removed the extraneous tomatoes and onions, all was fine. Nothing groundbreaking, but perfectly good for a basic bagel and lox. If that's what you're in the mood for, it's one of the better options out of the few in the area. And if you like tomatoes and onions, it's an even better option.Unless they make it differently in your case, of course…It's kind of like walking into a Seinfeld episode.

Got two dozen bagels ($14 each) and a tub of cream cheese ($4). The bagels are top notch, the best I’ve had in Virginia so far!
