Order to eat in to sample their banchan menu, including authentic kimchi, properly fermented, and also the Korean American canned Makkolli!
The experience of the man at the front desk was horrible. Discriminating towards me because I asked to use the bathroom while picking up food. He talking about someone is cleaning the bathroom. He lied. These people really think that discrimination is ok. It’s not. When they are discriminating against they crying. Don’t support this business. No respect at all.
This place is great! My sister and I went specifically for the tteokbokki, but everything was delicious. The fried chicken was SUPER crispy and the japchae was flavorful. Bimbimbop bowl was good and filling. If you're looking for home-style Korean food, this place is it.
The food was amazing and spicy!!! The service was adequate for it being busy AF. They had more take out orders than dine in. If they decided to expand. I feel service would be amazing.
It’s was my first time experiencing this restaurant and it was okay. This rating is based purely on the food. The service and vibe of the restaurant was good. Okay, let’s talk about the food! It was a bit disappointing to my boyfriend and I. The kimchi pancake was not spicy. We expected more from a flavor experience. Stop holding back and let the flavor out. My chicken bowl could of used more vegetables. I wanted more chicken in my bowl but I guess I never asked for that. It was bit of a one note - noodles. No extra sauces were provided when I thought I heard they were added in the bag. Honestly, I won’t go back because it was bit below average for a fast casual spot.

Just what I needed!! After living in Korea, I miss the food more than anything. It’s hard to find a decent place. I ordered the kimchi stew with tofu and bulgogi kimbap. So good!
This used to be THE 5 star place since coming across Bibimix in 2019. Before today, Bibimix had the most wonderful popcorn chicken at wonderful prices, large and small, chicken/pork cutlet, plus my favorite menu item, the Bulgogi Tteok-bokki. It was my go to place, either by picking up or via Doordash, it held wonderfully either which way! I eventually moved closer to the Courthouse area, which ended up making Bibimix my go-to treat every other week, sometimes every week! It got to a point of tradition to get Bibimix with some friends and enjoy the most delicious food you just can't find anywhere else.So what happened? in mid January 2022, For whatever reason, executive decisions were made to change establishment internally, from the way dishes were prepared (how chicken went from crispy, large pieces to flattened, soggy messes), to the portion of the dishes (12 piece to 6 in small, 18 to 12 in large), to the price of said dish ($17 for 12 smaller, soggier, boneless pieces of chicken?), down to straight up removing items from the menu (why remove the Bulgogi Tteok-bokki, the Traditional Korean sauce, along with other great tasting items you couldn't find anywhere else?).With all due respect to the establishment for being so wonderful up until now, I find this action to be the worst possible mistake. It's gotten to a point where I, along with my circle, can no longer recommend coming here until these changes are reversed and/or fixed.I can only hope that the changes being applied are temporary. I would feel terrible for anyone trying Bibimix for the first time today, as it was so, so much better just a month ago.
Lovable place for fast Korean, and they've expanded their menu beyond what was a Korean Chipotle. This is a great way to educate your options OF Korean cuisine before heading out to Annandale...add Kimchee scallion pancakes, Kimbo, Bulgogi, fried chicken, Bibimbop, etc. So good!
