It was my first time visiting restaurant and it was okay. Negative - customer experience. The QR menu should be an option, but not mandatory in my opinion. It took two of us to figure out how to use the mobile menu system. I expect a smoother customer experience. No complementary chips and salsa. Again, I think this should be a standard. Tacos were okay. They are small street tacos. The spicy chicken was tasty. The secret zucchini was decent. It has a sweetnesses from the corn salsa. Nice service overall. Overall, it’s a decent spot.
FIrst, it won't be easy to find this location if it is your first time in this shopping and eating area. I parked in the garage and from there I had to make a few u-turn because of google directions. Once you find the location, it is a cool looking hang out location. The food and drink presentation were on point and the music was just right. Nice outdoor setting as well. I was the photographer for the Yelp event. Overall great staff.
I honestly didn't have high expectations for this place, but I was wrong. The tacos are actually good. I had the chicken, I like that it wasn't pulled chicken but actual chopped chicken breast and well seasoned. All the ingredients were fresh and the service was really good. Everything can be ordered via QR code so you can add tacos whenever you want. I really enjoyed my grapefruit drink as well.
I really love this restaurant. My friend and I came here on a Saturday night and sat at the bar. The bartender and all staff were great and super friendly. There is outdoor and indoor seating as well. We had a mixture of tacos. I like that the tacos have a play on other genres of food. Everything is always super fresh. Prices are very reasonable. Drinks are ~12.00, their margarita is one of my favorites. Tacos are about $3.50 a piece and 1-2 bites, more of a small plate. Sides range from 3-5+. Overall, i really enjoy this restaurant. The food is fresh and delicious and the vibe is laid back. I would highly recommend to anyone in a Ballston area
great Margaritas interesting & flavorful tacos
Taco heaven. Great guacamole. I love that the chips are whole tortillas that you break apart yourself. Great hot sauces. And it is so easy to eat gluten-free here.If you eat pork, try the pork belly taco. I try really hard not to eat pork, but that taco is a good reason to break my rule occasionally. So. Good.
Delicious tacos and margaritas.
I loved my experience here. I walked into a contemporary restaurant with lovely music. This place is perfect for groups because you don’t have to split a tab at the end, each person just pays as they order. Genius!The food was amazing. I tried 4 different types tacos, the kimchi, and had a couple of glasses of wine. My bill came to about $45. The restaurant takes you allergies seriously, and that means so much to me because I have a lot of them. Lol!I highly recommend this swanky place for your next evening dining experience
I already love Bartaco, it’s one of my favorites. Everything I eat there is fresh and delicious and there is something for everyone. On top of that, every single staff person that I have interacted with has been fantastic. Today, they proved that their customer service is on another level though. The actions taken to correct an error on my pick up order were above and beyond anything I would have ever expected. If you are craving a delicious meal and wonderful service, there is no question that this would be an excellent choice. They also have delicious margaritas!
I am a regular at Bartaco, and literally have never had a disappointing experience. Tonight we ordered delivery through a third party service, and part of the order was missing. I called to see what could be done to remedy the situation, and someone came personally to deliver the items and gave us extra desserts....even though they do not provide delivery service. I work in the service industry myself, and am so impressed by their top notch customer service. Not to mention, you'll be hard pressed to find better tacos & cocktails. I wish I could give more than 5 stars!
