First time here but will definitely be returning! The mozzarella & procuitto app was amazing as was the Caesar salad! Great portions! The ham & mushroom pizza was very good and the family size was very generous! I canât wait to come back!
Great place and authentic food to share with friends
I just left from here. I used to live 3 years in Genova, Italy while I was on a study abroad. Genova is the famous for Pesto sauce. I ordered the gnocchi with pesto. Once I tasted I was in HEAVENLY! Because the recipe is like where I used to eat in Genova!!! You must try it!!!I spoke with Rosario the owner and he is super FRIENDLY!!! He is from Sicily and speaks Spanish very well too!!!I am definitely coming back more often for that Pesto!!!! ??
This used to be a great restaurant called Joe's Pizza Pasta. Joe and Vinny were fantastic. Amazing great garlic bread pizzas, subs and fantastic buffet not to mention they used to have a Fantastic apple pie. Now it's become just another liberal leftist hangout with mediocre food. Like everything else in Arlington going to heck in a handbasket.
This was our second visit to A Modo Mio with our dining group. Three of us had been there before, three not. Everyone was generally pleased and agreed we should return. I was not as pleased as the rest, for the following reasons: 1. Our waiter was inexperienced. Very attentive and nice, but promised bread and brought none. When I ordered a second soda at the end of the meal, he forgot that too. 2. I had the lasagna. I love lasagna. I make a good lasagna. This was meh lasagna. I don't cook with salt and I had to add it to the dish. Even then, the dish was less than flavorful. These are somewhat minor, but important. And we will go back again. BTW - the calzones are good but monster size!!! If you want a calzone, plan to take home leftovers or share it with someone.
Food was great as always. Had the pizza from certified Neapolitan pizzeria. Love the pasta dishes and decided to try something different. Service was great.
