Always a great experience. I love the bold dumplings and hubby loves the comfort food at Balo Kitchen. It can be loud there on Saturday nights so we like to go for lunch on the weekend.
This review is for the weekend afterhours experience. Came here on a Friday night to get a couple of drinks, ended up staying until closing time. Despite being so busy, the staff was efficient and friendly while serving my drinks. Also the security team was A1, i felt safe knowing everyone is getting thoroughly searched and they handled patrons with great awareness and respect. Look forward to the next time I visit.
Used to come here all the time. Haven’t been here since covid. It’s still as awesome as ever. Food is even better than I remember. Great Vibes. If you haven’t been this is a must go to.

My son and I came here for ice cream. The ice cream is great in flavor but you have to eat it quick as it melts extremely fast. The dumplings are good though.

The atmosphere is fantastic and the food is great, sometimes it's a little hard to get a table because it's so popular but definitely worth it.Outdoor seating when the weather is nice.
Doing errands in the area and decided to have lunch at the Block. Ordered dumplings from the dumpling stand inside, and while they seemed a tad expensive for what they were, they were delicious. It seemed they were made from scratch for my order, which was impressive. Take note that it might take a bit to get your food though (hopefully for this good reason). Nice aesthetic inside.
