The food at Tan Popo was delicious, fresh, and beautifully made. I highly recommend this place!!! My family and I had an assortment of appetizers, sushi, and ramen.
I have tried tampopo back when i was in los angeles so i got curious if this ramen house is up to par. It did not disappoint! This is like a hidden gem if you like to endulge in some ramen. Broth was great, noodles was bouncy and the toppings was good. I only have an issue with the egg topping that they have which is a bit over cooked to what im used to and i am just being a bit picky. I am definitely going to be a regular at this place if im craving for ramen. Also, if you are of drinking age, dont forget to order warm sake. Its very good as well.
We stopped here for dinner and had a wonderful meal. Our food came out quickly and it was hot and fresh.The owner was super sweet and explained the menu to us. The atmosphere was very relaxing and inviting. We had a great time!
Service was spectacular. Menu is very simple but fulfilling. My party all order ramen and it was amazing. I ordered the spicy ramen and it didn't disappoint, the portion was perfect, the spice was spot on and flavorful. Another in my party ordered the pork belly ramen and was greeted with more than enough thick cuts of pork belly in a clear broth. Tanpopo is definitely added to my list of regular spots to dine out. The flavor itself deserves a visit!
Nice little Japanese restaurant in an unassuming little mall. Ramen broth was excellent, great mouthfeel on the noodles. Friendly service. We will definitely be back!Only slight criticisms was that the broth could have been a bit hotter and I prefer my eggs to have a slightly runny yoke.
Great gem in Annandale! Delicious Ramen and Sushi as well as great sides. I come here often and always bring family and friends
Ramen is filling and rich in flavor. The texture of the noodle is nice a chewy. The price is fair and offers a generous portion. The only criticism is that for a ramen house the selections are limited. I would say it's more of a typical Japanese menu but with a section for ramen noodles.
I'll give this location a 4. The broth was delicious and spicy. We ordered #3 spicy ramen. The establishment was friendly and our waitress was nice and helpful.
Nice little ramen shop. Fast service and the shoyu ramen turned out delicious!
No frills ramen and sushi spot. I’ll be going back soon.
