Wish I could have tried it but their website let me place an order 30min before closing time and I got a call that the kitchen was closed while I was on my way to get it. Good thing I didn’t pay in advance! I can’t stand restaurants that do this, close when you say you close not when you feel lieIt. You lost a first sale here and that means all potential sales.. and please Fix your tech to not let hungry people order when your kitchen is shut down.
It’s okay. I was not to thrill with the food. I ordered two pupusas, one with cheese and beans, and the other cheese and loroco. It was a bit too salty for my taste. I wanted something warm so, I accepted the suggestion of drinking an atol de elote. It was too thick for my liking. The prices are reasonable, but I don’t think this would be my go to place especially since I traveled from DC to visit Annandale.
Good food and prices. If it's packed plan on waiting for your food. They were overwhelmed very quickly but if it's not busy def stop in food was good.
My God I love it!! The food here is delicious and the portions and size is good. The drinks are great too so refreshing. I recommend this place to anyone. The service from the staff is amazing too.
Very good traditional food. Love the horchata and the fruit drink. Papusas were really good. Love me some crispy fried cheese.
We were looking for a sushi place and missed the turn, so pulled into the parking lot to turn around...then saw Pupusas Express and thought why not? And boy are we glad we did.The place didn't look like much, but it was spotless (including the bathrooms), and the guy behind the counter taking orders was super friendly and super patient (one of us is vegetarian, and he took the time to tell what was OK and what wasn't and adjusted one of the dishes to it remained vegetarian). We got the flan and it was amazing. We are for our appetizer! We wanted more, but the Pupusas came delivered to our table. The guy came by to make sure everything was OK.Can't wait to go back here...don't miss it if you're in the mood for pupusas! ?

oh my GOD this is the best hole in the wall pupuseria EVER!!! I got 2 pupusas con frijoles and 1 con queso. I also got passion fruit juice (it tastes like the nectar of the gods)!!!!! Amazing service from the staff, too! <3
Best Central American food in the area. Don’t miss the Carne Asada!
