A good Japanese restaurant doesn't have to serve sushi and there is more to Japanese cuisine than sushi. Miso shows both to be true. Their katsu is crispy while being tender. Their ramen has a great broth. For take out the package everything up in a way that it is still delicious after driving home.
Great underrated tonkatsu restaurant. Their set meals are really great—I like the variety of options and everything is done well. The prices have risen a lot over the last year but still worth the visit
I have never been so upset with the service of a restaurant. If I can give a negative 5 stars, I would. First off, why are we getting charged gratuity for only having 4 adults and a toddler, better yet 20%?! Our waiter is lucky to have such a great manager to defend all his wrongs. Everyone at the table heard that we ordered shrimp katsu, but the waiter insisted that we ordered chicken because that’s what he wrote. It was like pulling an arm and a leg for him to change it. From then on he never came back to the table to check on us until we had to flag him down. When I asked for a refill on water, he literally just refilled mine while everyone else’s cup was empty. We had to wait until the very end of dinner before we asked for the check that we were able to get a refill on water for the entire table.
Never had a bad experience dining here for years! Food is always consistent and service is always great.
Wanted Don Katsu and found this place online. Meat is very thick and juicy but the breading is very crunchy. Better than any other Katsu place in the area. You should try it!
Amazing katsu!!!! They cook it brilliantly and it's not too oily. I got the flounder katsu with sashimi rice, and my friend got flounder with caviar rice. Everything was delicious and I can't wait to go back. The caviar spicy oysters were also delicious.
Decided to give Miso another try recently, and was just as disappointed as the last trip several years ago. They've reconfigured the restaurant seating since last visit and changed all the lighting to ugly stark bright white lights from the soft lighting before. The portions and food seemed to look just as they did before. The owner (or manager?) stalked around the restaurant the whole time, and even though it was 35 degrees out, he didn't have the heat on! Guests all ate in their jackets and the workers even all had thick layers on. You can't save your way to success.
Some of the best Asian fusion around. Awesome potato wrapped shrimp, okinomiyaki pancake, takoyaki balls. Love the pirk katsu with curry.
Great food and service! Def will be a regular :)
Decent place. Food is ok, basic, nothing special. Service was fine. Alright place for a bite to eat.
